Do people use these weapons?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if these are usable: Nifflevar Bearded Axe - Game Guide - World of Warcraft

I got 2 of those on my account and was wondering how good they are compared to other weapons in the bracket.

no they are not usable for lvl 70s and most people stay lvl 70, unless you have any 71+ left from the 74 bracket it wont be worth lvling up a 70 just to use these since the gear scales up

no, items scale to 283 ilvl (if i remember correctly) so yea its more or less useless to use nifflevar's

Meh, I just checked on my 74 priest (from back in da dayz). I really didn't know items scale to 283, that seems so ridiculously high :-|

It's not really when you realize it's scaling to x9 of the Bracket. It's basically scaling to the equivalent of good Quest Greens or meh Blues of x9. In fact AT Character Level x8/x9 of most brackets it's possible to exceed the scaling iLvL by a fair bit since they don't scale down if they're already of a higher iLvL. This is until Legion throws a huge monkey wrench into this whole scaling concept, assuming the change will effect 10-109 and not only 110 (which would be pretty hard for them to separate).
