Best stats/spec for hunter pet GY farming?

So I was on my spriest last night camping out up top horde graveyard like usual, just enjoying my favorite past time of dotting up an entire team as soon as they rez, and I kept getting killed eventually by mad folks, and as I listened to some guy on my team rage on me for toping the damage charts, An idea came to me suddenly. Ive been going about all of this the wrong way.

I got a brilliant idea, how about, roll a night elf hunter, and spec beast mastery, and stack stats for the sole purpose of having a strong pet? I can shadowmeld so no one sees me, and just camp my pet out in the graveyard, and when he dies I can just rez him.

But I can't figure out what pet would be best for this task....do I want a tanking pet? Or a dps one. I know raptors can sprint and pursue someone for quite some distance, so this might be a good option to go with too. Also, does anyone know the true ratio in which pets recieve stat bonuses verses your own stats? Should I go full ap gear and have a pet that hits hard? Should I stack crit so the pet crits a lot? Or should I roll with full stam set and make people say wtf when a 5k hp dog named becky starts attacking them?

Im not trolling here, this is a project ima work on when I get the time soon and ill prolly end up buying a wow token and selling it too so I can fund this new creation of mine. Any tips would be appreciated.

Not many people attack pets when they are being graveyard smashed. Like hardly, they seem to panic and go for the actual hunter. As for pet, go something that is heaps of DPS (I'm not to sure what pet, (But i run a bear and seem that it's a pretty strong pet)).

Crit is life btw.

get that chimerea pet or what ever it called the 2 headed flying dragon it has a aoe and just set him as tank speced to take some damage

lolwut

../sigh apparently using kill command breaks shadowmeld...this sucks.

early pvp tests at level 12 show that my pet can indeed solo some people, but they have to be undergeared. Pet is squishy and can take out half hp of opponent before dieing on average. Might experiment more with that chimeara pet at level 19, it has an aoe range and ranged attacks. could park it above gy to be out of range of melee and i wouldnt need to utilise kill command as much so i could stay stealthed.

if you feel like hunter pets are squishy, u should try a lock running with imp... dat sucker dies to a single moonfire dot.... i love how blizz logic states that furry lil kittens are way stronger / tougher than demons... yea... ok

Proper GY farming is not a game, its an art

Especially on kids who think they're hot shit

did inoob just allow ppl to gyfarm him ??

Uh I actually only got farmed twice in 250 bgs so far

And one was due to some hardware problems and the other one was cuz of like half of my team being stealthed shitters

what bout that time when u had the sun in ur eyes? Or when ur S-key broke so u couldnt run away from the rogue, caus how else u gonna move backwards..

ill come back when i come up with more good ones for u to use ^^
