  • So, my last laptop went aids and died on me. I haven't been able to play WoW on my own time for quite some time now. I'm investing in a new one like, right now. Anyone know the best brand to get? Or which to get? I'm only using it to edit and play WoW. So, I need something that will be able to handle the game perfectly with good graphics. I was thinking Toshiba, any suggestions? My bugget is $500-600 .. I apologize if this isn't the right place to post, but I felt it was right because I wanted to reach out to the people I actually played with :D

Pretty much any standard laptop will come with 4 GB or ram and 500 GB of space with a dual core processor and up to date graphics from intel, raedon, or AMD.

All of that is perfect for running wow and any common video editing sofware.

The price for basic ones like those are around 250 US dollars and anything better will just be a bit more, look for something with good graphics and dual core cuz the ram and space doesnt need to be so high for what u do.

You pretty much won't get a gaming one for that price. I've gone through a handful of them and Lenovo is by far the best. The hinges are fantastic, everything about them is so solid. I've dropped them and been totally fine. I have a T450s for work now. The battery life is like 8 hours, backlit keyboard, its super nice. But starts around 800.

Basically get some sort of i5 or i7 processor and 6 gigs of memory or more. You really want graphics that say nvidia or ati and not Intel HD graphics, as that's stock processor drawing the screen. But this usually runs over 1000. WoW will play on anything you just won't be able to max it out. SSD (solid state drives) are nice but can get pricey. They will boot up much faster and are less prone to crashing, so you won't loose everything, but won't change your gaming experience much.

I see what you mean. I know I won't get one for that price, I just wanted to know a good brand to roll with temporarily. I plan on spending around 3-4k on a desktop. But that's obviously have to be saved up first. I wanted a laptop that could run wow with graphic settings higher then "recommended" and was able to let me edit my videos with fast rendering (Hour tops). I was looking at something my little bro had, and it was quite the fit. I found something else in the search, here ..

I can't use the site link thing or my phone will crash of the site for some reason, so there's the URL to the PC I might get. Has the 6G memory like you said and it's a good price.

This is where I'm investing my desktop to
