After not logging in for quite some time and not knowing anyone around me it was quite nice to see this guy log in before my eyes...

I guess this is an @thread of some sort? Idk it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling :)

I almost /afk'd in my browser.

Now if Navydew/Snowdew were to appear before my eyes......

That guy right there, well you can call him the Twinking Grand Master!

Myrm bought TI so this kind of @thread is allowed now.

No but seriously, what is the point of this thread ? @Thread. I don't hate nor like Duopaladin, but i respect him for taking the hits and keep moving forward. Be a 29 or 20, he is a human being.

Therefore we don't have to be bullies all the freaking time we see him on BGs or take it to this point where we create threads with offensive purpose.

No, sorry, but that's how it is.

I'm not calling him out or anything. I was just extremely happy to see a familiar face in a bracket that has completely changed community wise.

I dislike him for what he does in this bracket, but I like to see more streamers and respect him for that alone.

People will always be hated/liked for a number of different reasons, and most people bring it upon themselves. But one thing that irks me is the "respect" they gain for reasons that aren't very respectable or downright non-deserving (and take that as you will, you can respect for whatever reason you want, but the fact remains others wont). And that's not to say against him, but plenty of examples of this in this bracket. IE having a guild and premading often will earn respect out of fear or sense of community gain moreso than on an individual level of your own deeds/forthrights. FCing on a BiS stam stacked lvl 29 guard/resto druid (while probably bringing your healers too) and being called master of jumps or master FC etc, same sorta thing.

I've been twinking chars (and helping others twink/level and propagating my race) since a few months into vanilla, and nobody recognizes me for that, mostly because they don't know/care. But I don't mind, and I'm not asking for it. But the whole "grand master twink" thing is a bit nonsense, because it somewhat belittles others who are just as or more-so deserving of the title, even ones who haven't been doing it quite as long or successfully.

But a question I have is this: why can I go to SW or goldshire or 100 bgs and see nobody with the bloodthirsty title, and go to 20-29 and see people with it left and right? My answer is it's quite easy to farm for that title in this bracket. Take everything with a grain of salt, don't judge a book by its cover.

A lot more title choices as well possibly. I know on my 100s I don't rock any of the PvP titles really. I think the raid ones are a lot cooler.
