1) If your Realm supports Pet sales yes, if there's already too many doing it it's not worth the time.
2) Panda mats still do pretty well on most Realms, it's just boring as shit.
3) Nope, too many other Players doing the same thing, AH's are flooded. You do fairly well just with the gold earned clearing old Raids though.
4) Suppose that depends how sweet that ass is and who has a sweet tooth on your Realm.
5) Garrisons do fairly well, especially if you have a JC with LvL 2+ Hut & Follower. The daily quest is 135-300 ish gold. It is a time investment though, if you don't already have a decent Garry built up.

**What Sebs said, playing the AH is one of if not the best way, especially if you're good at it.

Just got to stay on it. On WoD enchants I get around a 30-50% ROI. Sell 15-20 WoD enchants a day/ 7 days a week. On Tuesdays you sell more. Mats cost less on weekends.
Always diversify your investments. I even invest in potions and elixers on the weekends. Sell them on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It all adds up.
Keep an eye on the trader rotation. Buy the trade goods when they are off rotation and sell them when the trader wants them. The demand is higher. Thus, the price is usually double the price. Just don't flood the market.
A real gold goblin is patient.
