New Honor System coming in the next expansion

In the next expansion, they're adding a new talent system for Honor similar to the one we have for PvE. You start off at level 1, and as you PvP you unlock new talents. The level will go up to 50. They're also adding a Prestige system where you can reset your level from 50 back to 1 and gain some cosmetic effects.

Assuming we get this, this could be an interesting change to PvP (also assuming we can level it all the way to 50 and prestige and whatnot). However, they did not mention if the current system of gaining Honor for buying some of our heirlooms and other gear will still exist (at least I didn't hear it).

What's your opinion on these changes, assuming we get them and assuming that the current Honor currency system is gone?

gonna be speculating that
1) they're just combining all the items to one branch like the in-game store so you can get them eaiser
2) we end up getting probably 5-10 spells out of the all of them.

they said about getting new weapons, didn't say anything about new herilooms.

I hope it adds customization for F2Ps like Cata talent tree allowed you to be a specialization but you could gain little perks and abilities and not everyone used the same thing.

kind of like the system from vanilla, only the titles become "new talents" ?

I think that this system will not be available in F2P. If yes, it probably will be restricted to some level.

Well, if I had to speculated this early...
50 levels...
New maximum level is 110...
We start BGs at 10.. 110-10=100/50=2
My speculation is, IF lowbies are able to get this feature, we will be able to "purchase" one every 2 levels.
But who knows...

Dev Interviews - Legion PvP
Holinka talked about Legion and Warlords PvP on the arena steam today.
● Trinkets, set bonuses, and enchants will not be active in PvP.
● Right now players stack enchants, set bonuses, and trinkets, lining them all up at once to do a lot of damage. Outside of when all of those are up, players don't feel like they are doing much damage. This should help to make sustained damage a bigger part of PvP.

My thoughts on the trinkets/enchants.
Everyone is just linking that bulletpoint, not the second one as done here. You can see why Blizzard is doing away with them. At end game there is a real issue with players lining up all of these procs. So in Blizzard's infinite wisdom they have decided just to get rid of everything. I highly doubt that will effect the PvP on use trinkets. Such as insignia and BM. It will most certainly nullify procced weapon enchants such as crusader.

Insignia will be gone (replaced by a first tier PVP talent). It looks like they seriously want to remove trinkets and general burst without compromising PVE. Second-worst result would be them introducing these changes at endgame only.

Blizzard is removing not one, but two heirlooms from the heirloom tab? That is pretty unprecedented. Is that what you are suggesting?
I suppose they could just remove the FUNctionality.
