New BOA rings (BIS most cases) are gated behind the ship mini game that is gated with rep grinds and RNG. A lot of players are dealing wiht that atm.

The rings are gated behind rep? Guess I better get on that. I am not looking forward to more dailies no more than I play.
I thought it was just an RNG factor on the dock missions.
Most of the dock missions are hours long. Sometimes days...

edit: oh i see. i wowheaded it, and these seem very OP. probably will be nerfed because blizzard thinks we should be spending more time clicking on things and waiting.

so i guess i was right about the incoming nerf. it's depressing how predictable blizzard is sometimes. i just got mage tower up and running. now it's back to useless.
i guess blizzard was just upset how fast everyone optimized their garrison, so they had to make a garrison that operates at a fraction of the speed. this artificial way of gating content feels like an insult to my intelligence. it makes me feel dirty i even have to touch it.
edit: i just read patch notes, and couldn't find anything about mage tower nerf. were you talking about the taking/abandon quest bug everyone was exploiting?

But might only be for legendary quest. So you might be be good on normal missions.
My main has stables instead (which means I can derp all over Tanaan without getting dismounted) and I'm struggling to give my alt with MT much attention.
Mage Tower looks to be really good for apexis rewards, too, if you are prepared to farm Ogres.

Of course Blizzard is going to gate progress as much as they can, they want your renewed subscription/tokens purchases.

Bought WoD so I could have a max lvl toon to farm with and make things like leg armors etc for my toons. After 2 days of leveling via questting and some PvP I remembered why I play twinks. Level/gear/professiojn grinding is such a waste of time! No other way to get sweet enchants tho.
