Hey guys, I was initially gonna post this in my old EDM thread but decided the idea deserved its own thread.
I eat through music like a fat kid left alone with a box of twinkies. With that in mind, I've decided to start a sort-of blog where I post new music I find each week. I get a decent number of requests on what I'm listening too (especially when I'm streaming), so I'll just post tracks here.

I will compile each week's picks into a playlist for ease of listening.

I'll also pick my favorite of each week as the "Track of the Week".

The number of tracks I have for this will vary each week and because this is the 1st one, I've got a lot of tracks (Plus its just been a good 1-2 weeks of music, tbh; before that, there was a dry spell of like 3 weeks of shit tracks being released).

Mad Decent's Jackal is back and hard af. His last few tracks have all been bangers. The intro to this track is a little basic bitch but the drop is sick:

Track of the Week. This is the one that proved Jackal is back in a big way. Everything about this one tells me to watch out for him. He's gonna be big. I like EVERYTHING about this track:

Randomly found this guy while I was looking around and was QUITE impressed. His sound production is a bit rookie (and only 7k soundcloud follows) but he's def a diamond in the rough. Warning: this one is Drumstep.. Def a different vibe from the other tracks on the list:

Okay, this guy seems like he came outta nowhere and this week he's suddenly caught fire with Sirius air time. The drop in this track goes OFF:

WEEK 2:

This week is probably gonna be a little less than the last one but this is what I think most weeks will look like.


So my friend got me into this guy named Lil Dicky this week. Apparently he just hit it big with a track featuring Fetty Wap but that isn't the song we were listening to. This first track is amazingly funny. It's about being uncomfortably high (which I think so of us may be able to relate to):

Okay.. so this next one is super funny but I must put this disclaimer: more than half the song is about a dick. It's a great track but having this song stuck in my head is weird and idk how I feel about singing about a dick to myself.. Anyways, just check it out:

I'm a die hard trance fiend and in the last 2 years, trance hasn't been trance - it's been house/trance hybrid garbage but now, TRANCE IS BACK!!!! Legit trance. And I'm lovin it:

Week 3:

Hey guys; sorry I missed a week. I had midterms going on so I couldn't get around to posting. I've actually found a lot of great music lately and will be posting most of it next week. This week, however, is all about Halloween. In honor of this holiday, this week's playlist is all about it. It's mostly Bass Oriented but I think the tracks I chose do a good job of rounding out a solid mini-mix. If I had the software to mix it, I probably would.
