Recruiting more reputable Community Streamers, commentators and spectators! Inbox me or any of the management!

These are only people who I have confirmed, if you think you can help, comment here with a description on how you can contribute.

Platform

The NCWL - Nineteens Community Wargaming League is a community developed War Game Season that will happen intermittently throughout the 12 months of the year. On an annual basis.

we need more spectators, commentators, schedulers and community input in general - People who play year round are most valuable.

Signups will begin on the Twenty Fifth
This season will be Warsong Gulch only
Rounds last one week
Round Robin
Conq and the Stream Team will work individually with teams to assign appropriate war game dates between guilds
Teams will be guild based and be able to be filled by any member of that teams guild or alternatively a certain number of "floating mercenaries" can be used to fill a team spot.
If you leave a team during a season you are no longer allowed to play in that season
Once you join a team you are locked in for that season
Sign up end August 9th
Season Start date August 9th
The First season will be 5 Weeks long
Seasonal and yearly point system

Seasonal points system -

WSG

5 points Win

2 points Loss (flag capped)

1 point Loss (no flags capped)

0 points Forfeit / Abandoned

Yearly Point system -

30 points for 1st in a season
25 points for 2nd in a season
20 points for 3rd in a season
15 points for 4th in a season
10 points for 5th in a season
5 points for 6th in a season
4 points for 7th if necessary
3 points for 8th if necessary
2 points for 9th if necessary
1 point for 10th if necessary
0 points for anything lower than 10th

If there’s a tie both teams get the highest amount of points, ie if 2 teams tie for 2nd they both get 25 points

If there's going to be an 8 team limit in the Twink Cup next year it will most likely be solved by having the summer NCWL games seed 3-4 teams directly into the Twink Cup, while 3-4 additional teams are seeded based on overall year-round performance in the league. The winner of this year's Twink Cup might be autoseeded into next year's.

Top streamers/spectators from this years NWL will more than likely be selected to Stream next years twinkcup

The Mission

The Mission of this is to maintain 19s competitive edge year round, help the community prepare for the Twinkcup on a yearly basis, and keep the bracket active year round.

We will be having multiple seasons in a year spread out strategically. Season length will be determined separately for each season to accomadate the amount of teams that sign up.

Signing up basically means you lock yourself into a season as a team. If already made teams want to use this as an opportunity to pledge their support it would be great
.

Teams will play on all available BG maps.

with my current computer i am not able to stream however im getting a new computer in a few weeks just fyi

First season definitely won't be for more than a few weeks.

Re: The NCWL - organizers, announcements, rough draft, streamers

team rosters will be larger or less structured correct?

also are we going to go ahead and use the current premade rules or will new ones be drafted?

current premade rules is most likely, I'd say less structured teams, perhaps a certain % has to be the same at the beggining of the season as at the end, we will figure all this out.

Also there will be no mid season team swapping.

Re: The NCWL - organizers, announcements, rough draft, streamers

id much prefer to stream and shoutcast over scheduling, wouldnt say its my best strength to organize ppl when my own team is always late and stresses me the fuck out

I thought you might end up doing both but that works just as well in retrospect, i'd like you to work with marblea Laurenti and other streamers/commentators/people you guys bring or suggest- within the community to make something like http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f12/twink-cup-exhibition-games-streams-67031/ for each season with every game.

Obviously the people who set up each season may change depending on what people have going on in RL, we need to be able to accommodate that. Setting up a first season is the first and most important hurdle because after that the people who help run the next seasons will have something to work with and improve on. Thats why i don't really mind having a relatively large team of people to help keep this going year round.

Re: The NCWL - organizers, announcements, rough draft, streamers

I will be traveling a lot and won't be home until November, I know it is a bit far out in the future, but if this is still going by that time I would be very interested in helping out.

Re: The NCWL - organizers, announcements, rough draft, streamers

As far as scheduling goes there are a few things that I would need to know for assembling brackets/logistics.

what times/ days work for people? do we do the semi-standard 6pm pst on Friday through Sunday?
How many games per day to we want to run ? Do we only want one game running at a time so we get maximum viewers for each game ?
How many teams? How do we want to assign horde and ally base sides since horde has gy advantage. lower ranked team gets horde ?

lots of stuff to discuss

I agree that there are lot of things tl discuss, many lf which depends how many teams sign up for this. I think the TC rules are good, which for instance doesn't allow horde GY jumps.

Re: The NCWL - organizers, announcements, rough draft, streamers

If this was to happen, I'd be on board immediately ! Amazing idea! Also the people organizing have proven they are more than capable of making something like this work.
