Back after two years

Mephisto

All my toons are on AP, I have no idea what's changed, where everyone is or how much different gearing is due to scaling. Point me in the right direction and your reward shall be one corn chip.

Thanks for any help, I play Arms/Fury, and Sin spec rogue if that helps.

They have two different F2P modes now: Veteran and Starter. So Veteran is someone who bought the games previously but now they're just logging on playing their level 20s. Starter is like a brand new account without having bought the game ever. Both of them have their benefits and weaknesses - Starter has access to all primary professions up to level 100 and all secondary professions up to level like 300 or 350 or something, Veteran does not. Oddly enough there's some weird Veteran stuff going on where you can't do certain crafting things, and some of them are pretty crucial for F2P players like +3 intellect enchant or medium leather enchants. Benefit with Veterans is that every 6 months or so you'll be granted a 10 day trial of P2P, that can help a lot if you have any old toons with extra cash or if you've saved up some vendor and auction house stuff to sell. During that time you have P2P you can also join a guild and stay in that guild even when you go F2P.

I don't know about 2 years ago, but back when I played heirlooms were not in a dialog by themselves and in order to get heirlooms you had to buy them on your main and mail them to your lower level characters - this was back in WotLK. It is no longer like that and if you have any heirlooms they go into a new dialog tab that they created that allows you to make a copy any time you want. For Veteran I have a pretty good fury warrior if you want to take a look:

DirtyBulk

-If you have another account pick whichever one has the most looms.
-If that account hasn't been a paid before, follow the upgrade now window from within WoW and upgrade for 5 bucks.
-After your time has run out you can still play for free at 20. But use your paid time to chant/buy looms.
-Both arms and fury are in great spots. If you go fury stack haste. Haunted Blade from sfk is your best wep.
-The shoulder and pants chants can only be applied by an 85 or above character. You mail the chanted boa back to your 20. The glove reinforcement works the same way, so you'll need a boe for gloves if you want 9 stamina. It will not bind, like it says.

Tons of other things, ask your qs.

Welcome back :)

Welcome back!
Brace yourself for an entirely new starter experience!

I'd like to throw in, once you get 35+ boa added to your heirloom tab, you are received an apprentice-level mount usable lvl 1 and up! I would recommend getting a little out of your main to get the best out of your starter!

Yea its weapon damage scales just a tad below BAR but it has tons of haste. Some math would have to be done to know for sure. But its quite good. Haste reduces your CD of your abilities, which nets you more wild strikes/chances to proc.

Strike of hydra is also nice for the poison apply and you can weapon switch after. Iirc it drops like 15% of their armor.

What's the proc change on Hydra ?
