I'm not saying don't discuss. I'm saying those whom are actually making the rules are actively discussing the issue and we are trying our best to take into account the community opinion, and that if you choose to make a multi page discussion, chances are it will be overlooked.
Any opinion / passion attempting to make any change is an argument. Arguments are what debates are based on.
If you have a passionate opinion about crusader, state your opinion in an effective manner that the rules committee can easily digest. We're not going to make everyone read pages of back and forth dialogue when someone should be able to simply state:
"I think ______ should be ________ from the twink cup because ___________"
Here is why I believe any discussion is really irrelevant:
You haven't heard the rules yet. For all you know, the rules that we're working on are redundant to the point you're trying to make. So you could be arguing in favor of what the rules already support. Once we make progress with the rules to the point where the community is aware of our initial statement, I'm sure discussion will be welcomed then.
However, with that being said, you have to keep in mind how many people whom are members of the community are the ones making the rules. The rules committee is not just like Myrm and one friend. You have to trust that the rules committee has a great understanding of the community and current meta. There isn't a power battle here between rules committee vs non rules committee. However, if 100% of the rules committee has one opinion and 2% of the non rules committee has a contradictory argument, then it's quite clear which way things are headed. The rules committee is comprised of extremely knowledgeable and passionate community members whom are playing on your side and against you in every PUG game, arena skirmish, war-game and official premade. You don't have to worry, we are doing our best to accommodate for the community at large's general opinion.
If you have an extremely passionate opinion about any given rule for the twink cup, I suggest you create a poll with easily interpreted results instead of a discussion thread. The information from that will be much more effective in providing any change to the TC rules if that is something Myrm and the rules committee are interested in hearing out.
