19s are calling

There's a ton of guilds to wargame and arenas seem to be pretty active in 19s, plus the twinkcup cashmoneys on the the table.
It really only takes a few hours and 5k gold to make a fresh ready to play 19. AGM isn't truly bis and GF'd gear is unnoticeable.

Too much chest thumping, too many stealthies and not enough heals in 19's.
Pops are happening in 39's I hear. My Alliance healer is coming along nicely. It may be ready for tomorrow night.

It's not really for lack of people queueing heals. Queues have been skipping healers. With almost all FC's being resto druids, it's bound to happen. So, you might not like the balance, but it's not really the player's fault as much as it is game mechanics and the increased damage tank specs take in PvP.
 
Protection damage increase was reverted some time ago. You do not have to be a in protection spec to be an FC. In the past some of the best FCs have been non prot-specced FCs. Most people just want to top the charts. Either by HKs, KBs, or sheer DMG. And you can't do that with by healing. or while you are sitting around waiting to be one shotted by a feral while you are holding a flag. Myself, I do not have the fragile ego that those people do. That is why all I do is heal.

From what I can gather, they added a 25% increase for tank specs in PvP combat, then they added 50% more damage taken while holding the flag, then they took away the 50% damage increase. I can't find any patch notes where they removed the 25% increased tank spec damage taken. If you're right then people should probably be using tank specs, but I'm thinking the 25% is still around. I remember seeing a thread where guardian took more damage than resto in bear form not too long ago.

Either way, the perception is that resto druid heals (or maybe an dps-spec warrior in defensive stance) is the only FC that has a chance not to get one-shotted at stacks. That being the case, the resto druid FC is taking up a healer slot, and really messing up the queues: it gets known that healers get skipped, and people don't want to get skipped, so they queue dps. It ends up where, often enough,you have a sub-optimal number of healers on a team.

So I wouldn't blame it on the bracket's players, but rather the fact that these damage increases were designed for endgame gear. Even so, RBG tanks still seem to be pretty pissed about it.

I heard the winners of the Twink cup are getting Apple watches and the left over money will be divided into 5 dollar bills for the pure "butthurt f2ps" to go "Vet" . I don't know if it's true possibly a rumor.

The fact that certain 29s are so desperately repeating the same nonsense about DDoS in a bracket that has nothing to do with theirs clearly shows how interesting 20-29 is.
