Am i the only one who doesnt see an issue with this?

MY question is why this is even brought up as a subject in the first place, I don't understand why people can't let others live the way they like to.

exactly, in theory it shouldn't have even gone "viral". its just another family :) but thats murican intolerance for you and the depressing thing is they aren't afraid to show it :/

2 gay guys doing their daughters hair and it goes viral and they didn't expect to have people with a differing opinion other than their own? Bahahahaha!!

They should be glad that they weren't born in the middle east, they don't tolerate gays at all and they actually kill gays in the middle east because they never really tolerated that kind of stuff. These guys have it good in America compared to other countries.

yes you're the only one

Point proven.

People should be able to live as they want, this shouldnt hurt anyone at all.

I think you're looking at this in another way than intended. It's not about other people's opinions but rather the other person being too ignorant to accept other ways of living life.

thats the thing, they were shocked when people said something that "offended" them when they knew what was going to happen.

Both sides make me laugh...

On the one hand, it doesn't affect you so who gives a flying crap..

On the other hand, the so called tolerant people are so as long as someone doesn't disagree with them ..

That's not entirely true, I couldn't give a shit wether you want to stab a baby for hate reasons or never hurt anyone, whatever you like I will respect no matter how fucked up or "wrong" to mainstream society it is - let me put it this way; I like to support what's real and has a purpose that isn't idiocy

Hi guys, please watch your vocabulary, everyone's entitled to have their own opinion, but when you insult someone else's it can lead to further discussions that, in the end, are pointless and not healthy for our community.

OT: I am not pleased by it going viral, or them having to defend their way of living, but unfortunatelly, from ignorance comes a lot of hate, so it might have helped them to show more people that there's nothing wrong with it.
I've tried to bring the topic with my family, but it's reaaaally difficult to discuss it with people that not just don't share your point of view, but aren't willing to open their minds and respect other people's lifes/interests.

What if everyone in the world happened to be gay? How would we reproduce? Is that natural thing to do now?

I am just unsure why people would hate on someone for not sharing the same point of view on things, sad world...

Just my opinion, but I don't think it is possible that everyone was gay. We could reproduce in an artificial way, donating sperm, etc. Being gay is natural, yes; it's common in other animals and they are perfectly fine. About the reproduction thing, just think about infertile hetero couples, are they not normal? not allowed to be together?

I'm fully supportive 100%.

I'm originally from Dartmouth and in my high school there were only a few people who were open about their sexuality with theirs being different from the majority of my school. I did't hate or anything, it was just kind of weird because it was my first time experiencing people who were open about being into the same sex.

Then I went away to college and I found that there were way more people who were open with their sexualities and there were pretty much frat houses of people who were like-spirited.

They were friends with the best girls on campus (not just looks, but personality etc) and I ended up spending more time hanging out with them because being in the performing arts school, I met a lot of people in my acting classes.

I ended up moving into a girls suite upstairs and living on the girls floor at night and then every day I'd go over to the house where all of my theater friends lived and I ended up spending a lot of time with them. They were the most fun and least stuck up! It was such a change from what I was used to back home so I learned a lot about their struggles and lifestyles and became 100% supportive.

My questions is though, why did it start to get viral? Because people tought it was nice, and were happy to see a gay couple with their family, or was it because people hated it and had to show others how these ppl were living their lives and had to voice their (stupid) opinion.

And more to the topic itself, no you're not the only one. I'd say I'm pretty happy to see this picture, since there's no doubt in my mind that this couple will love and care for their children way more than most hetro couples do. If I'm not mistaken there's actually a study that proved this a few years ago, might be wrong though.

Which was my point. It's a two way street. Both sides do this equally. There are actually very very few open-minded and tolerant people in this world. There is side A and side B and they both despise and ridicule one another.

what the hell is wrong with you and how is making exaggerated "points" making your point vaild?

That didn't answer my question lol

I guess you are getting a little too defensive when someone doesn't agree with same sex marriage and has a different opinion than yours. Seems that's the case in the articles comment section too when someone doesn't agree with their same sex marriage opinion they act all shocked when someone doesn't agree lol
