Question about rogue weapon for sub

I thought about that elemental force was your main damage. then i thought that when you have a dagger equipped you deal 40% more damage with hemo and ambush. So, would it be better with SF in mainhand and heirloom dagger in off or is 2x SF better?

Another question, how are prot warrs for fc?

in most cases its melee-ambush-elemental force in that order as far as rogue damage goes so i think 2x sword would be better, that said i doubt you'd have a huge difference with sword/dagger. dagger needs to be MH for the 40%

prot is okay at fc but lacks druid mobility and speed through mid

The 40% buff applies to dagger in MH. It's not even really a buff, it's just meant to normalize the difference between dagger (1.8speed) damage and sword/mace/etc (2.6speed) damage.

Yeah, cheers for clarify, haven't touched a 19 rogue since cata. So, double SF it is? Oh and should i go combat or sub?

combat is currently the best spec for rogue in wsg/arena... sub arguably better for rogueVrogue but RvR means nothing... combat is superior because of its ambush damage 600-700 noncrit ambushes and upwards to 1k crits

edit: thats without all of the elemental force procs that youll get aswell and auto attacks

Thanks, I'll go combat and keep farming for my 2nd SF :D, did they remove the passive vitality AP thingy?

pretty sure its still there just not in the spell book... when you respec/spec into combat it should show the passive in your chat if its still there

Seems like most people run 2xSF but I think the mathcraft actually sugggests using a fast OH for more poison and EF procs. Balanced Heartseeker, Tail Spike, etc. More hits, more poison ticks = more EF.

That would be perfect as I only have 1 SF

just use a boa sword or dagger as OH till you have 2x fangs

also combat can ambush for 1100+ easy while sub will hit 800-1k but hemo spread on lots of targets is fun with EF

Weapon speed does not affect poison and EF procs.

Imo dual fangs or dual boa maces.

The hemo and ambush buff awards a higher yellow but a lower white hit. This regulates the damage with swords that awards a lower yellow buta higher white hit. The damage totals roughly the same amount.

Thanks, I'm running with Mace MH and SF OH atm

I use SF/heartseeker from my experience it hasbetter opening dmg
