Defias Watchman

I currently think the item is gf'ed, if someone can prove me wrong so be it.

I only say this because as we all know since WoD hit all the loot tables for our level bracket have changed, having said that, this item and the NPC it drops off have both been gf'ed for a long time.

I saw several of these pop up recently on the Auction House, on several servers. I don't know if this indicates that it is dropping, or not. Some of the players that are returning for the new expansion may have found them in their characters banks. Next time I find one, I'll send a message to the owner, asking where they found it.

The reason they might be popping up on more AH's is because more and more people are returning to the game due to a new expansion.

Then they look through their bags and try to make some quick gold. Some will post for retail amounts if they know the value, and some will post em for small amounts and quickly be bought off by the "AH player"

It's gfed but there are some explanations as to why these may be cropping up on the AH, along with other gfed items.

People sell various weapons skins a lot more since the start of the transmog thingie

the rapier is amazingly long for a 1H, no wonder it would sell well as a skin,

On wowhead it's still listed as a drop, for a single reason, the item itself was not removed from the lootable, but the npc dropping them are no longer here.

Look like Blizz replaced Defias Watchman with some Ogres in this new patch, so we'r not able to take [Defias Rapier] any more :*(

a long time I thought Defias rapier GF'd. But recently appeared on wowhead russian comment about farm this item. I looked around the whole territory of the dung and inside the dung too. Can u help me and asked where can i find this NPC ?

On the comment it is said that he did a gm request and the gm said that the item was not removed.

Also the russian player on wowhead said the npc is near the entrance of the instance. or at least it's what i understood thanks to the average google translation.

post: Ð*апира БратÑтва СправедливоÑти - Предмет - World of Warcraft

he also said that the npc stay invisible, but that it's not a problem for high level characters. lol i hope this isn't fake.

Considering Slarkskin is back, along with some others out of Crates, I'd imagine it's the same for this.

The mob it dropped from is still gone, though.

Either way, I have like 5 of those still banked.

regarding the watchman- does anyone know where in the original deadmines (before cata) were they supposed to be? i'd appreciate any clues or hints regarding their original location (before which boss etc). i want to test out a thought.

They were in the same room as the first boss, Rhakh'Zor.
