It is a shame..

Twinking hasn't been the same since everyone decided they were just going to play the 'free version' of Wow

Do you have any reasoning for this assertion? Just curious.

Before Blizzard changed trial accounts to starter accounts, people actually put effort into making games happen with each bracket. A player didn't have to go play 20-24s before then because he could easily pick 19s, 29s, 39s, 49s, 60s, 70s, or 80s. That player could literally take his pick of a bracket, build a toon, and go spend a couple hours playing games here or there. Getting games going in a bracket takes a lot of coordinated effort (or a natural cap imposed by a game limit, such as not having the latest expansion). I can't explain where all the people interested in other brackets have gone to, but it's clear that F2Ps have significantly more people participating in them (or they did, at least until 6.0), than any bracket would need to get activity going. Since other brackets have little to zero activity (and have been that way since starter accounts became a thing), one can only conclude that twinking has not been the same since Starter accounts were created.

Nah your wrong. P2P's can suck a diik.

Since vanilla I have loved twinking, and when blizz turned off XP it really hurt twink brackets. There simply was not enough players to keep any bracket alive. F2P twinking fixes all of that. Because of Free to Plays, we now have an active twink bracket with consistent BG/ Arena pops. The problem is that some people feel the need to Pay in order to have an advantage against the F2P's.

Think of it this way: Without F2P's there would be no active twink bracket. On the other hand, without P2P's the F2P twink bracket would thrive. More people would play because there would be no fat P2win Nerds facerolling a predominantly free to play bracket.

The fact is that the best thing for the bracket is for everyone to play F2P or P2P with F2P restrictions. Anyone who Pays to play in a bracket consisting of predominantly F2P players is literally paying money to have an edge. P2Pers are ruining what could be a fun and active twink bracket.

Such a compelling argument.

Except for the fact that plenty of brackets have been active since 3.2 (despite all the other obstacles and problems they've faced). The only reason why F2P is a bracket is because there will always be more welfare cases than people who are willing to pay a sub fee. If Blizzard had never made starter accounts, all those people would be playing other brackets right now, just like they were before starter accounts came along.

But keep insulting people who pay for the game, it's really helping your argument.

Your probably right in that insulting people wont inspire change. I should be smarter and I'm sorry. That being said, Suck a diik you fat P2win nerd.

No other bracket is active right now (in the sense of bg/ arena pops) simply because P2P is choosing to play with F2P. My hope is that the P2P community will realize that the only way to keep the bracket alive is to encourage F2P's and Discourage P2P. Right now F2P's are leaving because just a few P2P's on the other side ruins games. Soon, without F2P twinkers you can go back to enjoying non existent Bg pops.

Twinking has always been a very small niche community in WoW. Evidence of this is how twinking undoubtedly suffered after being put into their own brackets. No bracket really ever experienced consistent BG pops like we do now.

Better to kill the bracket than to conceded it to maggots.

In my opinion oldschool lvl 29s should be thankful that f2p repopulated their bracket. For 24s of course they leveled to 29. There is no stopping them from wanting to be OP. They are like fat kids that would kill for candy and soda. Dont even get me started when they go full try hard in arenas.

While i don't speak for all old school 29's I for one would prefer the bracket dead to the feces show it has become.

The beatings will continue until you buy the game or quit.

I have bought the game and owned it on diff accounts before way back to the first weeks of vanilla. And playing f2p has offered a much more exciting experience than facerolling as a p2p. If you think any good of yourself you would have a little honor and try not abusing the bracket for what it has become or at least stop premading 5s every game (looking at you Holy crit etc etc horde guilds). Most of the time I see people who premade 5s on p2p I see players with low skill level, and when they have never experienced what its like currently to play in an even sided competition or even vs the offsided, Im not surprised. By "never" I mean in this bracket and patch. The game does change.

Any day blizzard can go back to the 7 day trial then u lose your account i suggest either to either stop complaining or roll a p2p also 29s have been around before trials..... And complaining about a game you are playing for free and telling people that PAY what to do is pathetic

Regular crap arguement but ok. Was expecting something more genuine. I do have 29s and premading with them = faceroll and no fun. And can you say the same for the countless 24s (that now roll 29s) that made the toons to stomp trials? Were they there first?

I solo q on horde and still win I haven't seen a premade yet .... If u want to complain about premade make an alliance 19 and play that for awhile if u want to be angry about premades that would be the correct bracket to QQ in
