As for the Salvage Crate, I only just heard about it. To my dismay, it seems that some of the items are, indeed, obtainable again.
While that is said, I doubt that the loot tables cover ALL unobtainable items. Items like Chromatic Sword, Coral Claymore, Shovelphlange's, Staff of Horros and Noble's Robe still seem to be GFed, judging by Undermine Journal's quantity count. To add, the pattern, schematic and the Shadow Panther Hide Gloves are definitely still GFed, along with all the other green and white unequippable junk.

Yes, that was clarified on page 1. I found out about it after I had bought a pair of Raven's Claws for 30k.
The Dark Runners Boots and the Beastwalker Robe are both 'original', if that is worth anything to people.
