Twinks these days don't know what a twink means.

So today I was on my 10 twink horde. Then I met an alliance added me btag and told me he wants to join me and he had a lvl 10 horde twink . So he added me etc . Then I invited . First thing he had 0 enchants . Then while in West fall I killed some mobs. He leveled up. ROFL

Hahaha... Ive come across a lot of "twinks" like those guys. Nothing to be insulted about though, those are the people that look up to you as a super-model. Everything you do looks fun to them so they want to join in (without necessarily knowing how to; like locking their exp). Those are the people that you need to guide the most and help out :)

You keep spreading the twink love! :cool:

but some cant be . like this guy, after he leveled i told him why didnt u say your exp was unlocked he said "idk" then said "on the bright side i have more HP now" thats exactly what he said. i guided him enchanting all his gear. told him each bis and etc . did nothing of it xD
 
You get this in every bracket, last night playing my 70 ele sham i had a 70 hunter stating he was a twink stacking green stam gems, with no enchants, and wearing some rare and green items. Also keep in mind not alot of people have gold or know how to farm it. Good enchants/gems can cost alot of gold that players can't afford or willing to pay. They just know the brackets that twinks play, but don't know the logistics of them. Nor do they understand the full benefits of being bis/enchanted/gemmed.
 
A twink doesn't have to be BiS, just has to be in the process of it (considerably far) and level locked imo. But even if a person has these, I exclude people who do both, yet have no idea how the game/objective/class works. A twink should define their ability to pvp.

As far as pve, well Im not sure if twinking applies to that, but sure, lets go with it.

But f2ps are twinks. What are you on about. A f2p has himself deckecd out in gear a normal leveler wouldnt get. On top of that he has heirlooms at level 20. You dont see levelers have all those looms gathered at 20 eiher. So f2ps are twinks.

To be a twink you don't have to be a bis-twink. There are several styles of twinking to be exact.

Anyways, what I do with these people when I meet them goes a little further then just laughing in their face. I help them get gear and swap enchants on their toons and pay for xp locking. Thats how you do it. You want to help the community and interest grow. You do it like that.

But you can also twink and unlock your XP, as Ive seen in many videos and I have tried myself, so I think in some exceptions, a twink can still be leveling or in a leveling bracket. Just doesn't last long.
 
Italian/germans sometimes call their alts twinks, had a discussion with an italian hunter I sometimes que 3s with when he said he'd log his twink and turned up on a 90
