having serious issue trying to add real IDs to my friends list

1. ok, been away for a while but just heard about F2P and so now i'm checking this out for a while. i can chat with real ID friends on battle.net but when i try to put them into Social (ingame) says cannot be found.Any advice would be helpful since blizz just gave a ticket que of 2 weeks. any relevant advice is welcomed.

2. I really am having a hell of a time getting anything going with F2P Addon. i can't get the download, when i do and unzip it, it'blank. really at a loss with this

Well you can't use in-game Real ID on a starter account, but if you want to use the Battle.net client chat while in-game you have to uncheck "Don't pop-up new chat windows when I receive whispers in-game" in your settings.

Did you download it here? F2PAddon - Chat & Communication - World of Warcraft Addons - Curse

Try that again, just double click the zip it should open to a folder called f2paddon that's unzipped. Just drop that in interfaces>addons. Make sure it's checked to run, from your character selection screen the bottom left corner says "Addons" Click that and make sure F2PAddon is enabled.
