After many failed tries (camera holder dying, wipes, random 90s killing boss and flying away) we finally succeeded:

I present to you the first kill of Magtheridon F2P group.


Summer is coming so you can expect to see downed Fel Reaver and maybe some northrend elites.

As always looking for feedback :)

Exactly. Some of us on Vashj US took on Pyrricion in Wetlands. We had to double tank him and taunt swap. You can't let them hit you.

Pyrricion wasn't nearly as difficult. Especially since you can fudge the fight by dragging him into Greenwarden's Grove and letting the guards wail on him too.

Edit: just read that Pyrricion doesn't have a leash. I'm gonna have some fun with that.

cleave for 1500 or 500 i can't remember . does some fire breath stuff for more AOE. and has a enrage timer.
 
Okay!

4th of July in evening hours we will attempt to do F2P only Ring of Blood. We will be CRZed into some low population server and then P2P will summon bosses which we will proceed to kill.

First boss is Brokentoe, a beast with 65,4k health sometimes stunning enemies around for 3 seconds. I guess we will be able to down this one easily.

Second one are Murkblood Twins, both with 42k health. This one will be really really tough because we have 2 bosses at the same time, but I hope we will manage to do it.

Third one is Rokdar the Sundered Lord, with almost 100k health. Knocks away, inflicts bleed and AoE stuns for 4 seconds. I think he will be an easy one, with proper tactic it will be easy.

Now the hard part starts: Fourth boss is Skra'gath, and he has a really interesting mechanic - he will be immune to the first school of magic used against him. Preferably we will have a mage to start a fight with some frost spell as this is the rarest school in the F2P bracket. MOREOVER he uses AoE Silence with damage, AoE knockback which deletes ALL aggro and (!) he has a drain life ability which will probably make this fight a wipefest. Only bright side is his low health (66k)

If we somehow manage to beat skra'gath we will face Mogor the Warmaul Champion, who will probably slowly kill us with his charge + mortal strike + normal attack combo. A 66 prot paladin commented on his wowhead page that he hits "hard as hell" which will probably mean that healing won't be necessary - we will get oneshotted anyways. 107k health pool with that conditions will make the fight... um really hard.

But I still believe that we can do it.

Why am I posting this? Every F2P from EU on alliance that wants to come is invited. We have around 15 free spots in our raid group. Only requirement - you need a good hit gear. If you are mail or leather user get yourself Hogger Trousers, Eyepatch, well basically all hit you can get. 20% would be absolute basic.


Most of the bosses listed up will probably oneshot us so we will need to bring really high dps to the table. Melee bosses will be kited just like Arzeth in the video above using druids, and the caster one will have to be nuked.

Quite the nail biter at the end when the horde mage npc got pulled and started blasting people. Some excellent team work you all displayed as well.

Minor suggestion: Don't use music that overpowers the visuals next time.

The final boss is actually the quest giver himself. He has 86k health, revives himself upon first death, and has a large number of spells.

Chain Lightning

Healing Wave

Flame Shock

DPS totems


Would be extremely difficult to wipe him, I think.
 
If you guys manage to down that last boss, I'll be all 0,o and won't hardly believe it even if I see it.
