Alright so as the changes are rolling in the question starts to pop up . " What is looking over powered?" , " Will we be seeing a certain classx10 games or a majority of one class like we do today with a majority of games being orange yellow and green on the good ole bg targets ? This thread is for you to voice your opinion on what class you think will be the best as far as DPS goes come wod.
 
I dont expect it to much different to what it is now.
 
I highly doubt that hunter will still be overpowered . they loose aspect of the hawk and every single non racial interrupt. marks doesn't get arcane shot so its only has aimshot as its source of damage which will be highly predictable and most likely not that bad .survival seems decent but no serpent sting or interrupts with loss of hawk seems like it won't be so hawt . same with bm.
their raid buffs will be great but i don't think they will be over powered. maybey on the upper level of playing field but i think rogues will be a much bigger problem.

I think they've just made them more simple by giving them less buttons. And I have a sneaky feeling hawks damage buff will just be added into their shots.

if your sneaky feeling ends up being true i can see them being strong although i won't be nearly as scared of them. you will be able to spam heals through their dos without fear of interrupts and the loss of serpent sting reduces their burst a lil bit.

something I'm wondering is if an arcane mage once it reaches 4 stacks will be doing more damage . cause the base damage of arcane blast was increased by 12.5 percent so at 4 stacks thats a good chunk of extra damage . arcane will be weird though as it will have NO SLOWS and no shatter. kindah derpy imo but the evenecence could greatly help them out along with ice block if you chose something else.
 
From what I can tell from reading the patch notes there should be no major differences in DPS powers apart from Hunters being nerfed. Most classes had changes that brought ups and downs but the DPS spec that got the most positive changes was definitely Balance Druid. Starsurge which does a TON of damage now has 3 charges with a 30 second recharge time, instead of having Starsurge on a 15 sec cooldown. This means that their burst will be insane, in Battlegrounds they will have 3 charges ready at every new encounter which they can unload on their target of choice right away not really giving their enemy any other option than dying or running away. In Arenas where burst is very important this will be even more of a problem, since if you can silence the healer you're pretty much guaranteed a kill if you can get your 3 Starsurges off. Arms Warriors also gain a nice buff in DPS through lower Slam cost along with other positive changes.

I have no idea why a few people voted for Mage. Their only buff is getting Ice Block which doesn't affect DPS, and along with that their close to no damage is reduced to a lot less. Mages will pretty much only be a support class in WoD. People are casting their votes off guesses without having read up on the changes in this lovely thread, get your facts straight.
 
Here's a thought. My druid currently has like 20% crit chance... And 21.5% hit. What happens when all that hit gets converted to crit?

Feral druids are going to be balls-out crazy.

voted for monk because the fact it becomes playable will make it fotm for at least a few months.

hpally sucks dick in WOD atm . if you look at their healing sp coefficient atm u will see its less than 200% priest and shaman are at 297% or 279% meaning paladin currently has the worst heals of all healers.

I recall a blue tweet (or maybe that PvP interview a while back) where Celestalon said pretty much just that. Blizz kept buffing AoH as a quick fix for endgame so would bet good money you are right.

The health gain on kill for Survival and being able to use Aimed Shot on the move will mean there will still be plenty of hunters. And with Hit going to Haste, those skill-patched focus dumps might be more often!
 
There will be a few new monks simply because they are shiny and new. As soon as the new car smell wears off the player base will go back to what they are comfortable with, something nice and simple. And there is absolutely no shame in that.
Many classes are getting reworks but balance is getting a complete rotation make over. It may be time for me to I bring back my Druid.

Mistweaver gameplay is not exactly compelling at low levels. Fistweaving doesn't heal for enough and soothing mist is boring as hell to heal with. They have mobility, so that might be a selling point.

Brewmasters are pretty fun in my experience. With Dizzying Haze, they might be pretty effective flag runners, especially with speed pots. Again, good mobility, so that's a plus. Keg Smash > Breath of Fire is hella fun at low levels. It's kind of sad that you don't really run those spells at higher levels.

I haven't played Windwalker.

I'll probably roll one of each.I already have like 30 pre-BOA or better toons, so what's a few more lol
