So my friend made a F2P rogue today..

It might be Doomspike day in BFD.

I just saw it drop for the first time ever on any of my toons (I was on my rogue) and got out rolled by a level 24 boomie that qued as tank and "tanked" in cat form. I hadn't noticed that he was need rolling everything until he won Doomspike.

Did you boost using a 90 to pull the entire instance repeatedly for hours, I can't imagine this was your luck of an afternoon pugging BFD?

I've farmed for two weeks over 300 runs for one DS and ROP, boosted by a 90.

It is pretty clear that this is a F2P restricted P2P.

And why?

Simply cause of DPR. You need to win the STV fishing competition and is not listed in the activity feed below when he obtained the DPR.

I was midway through typing "I think you might be right", after my investigation.

But if this account already HAS that achievement on another character, or on p2p linked. Then it won't show in the rogues armory.

It was what I was thinking also at the start but I won it several times on a linked character and it still showed in the activity feed. It is fishy anyway :)


Edit: yes you are right and I am wrong. It doesn't show in the activity feed, I was certain it did but checked one of my chars. Still fishy though in such a short amount of time getting all of that ^^ 2 Keefers, 1 Striped racer, 7 firefin, 3 oily, 40 tasties within 17 minutes of fishing.. it just doesn't feel possible. Sorry for my doubts but I fished alot.

I was never disputing that fact, but I did ask if he was boosted with a p2p for the rare BFD drops?

Yeah he boosted himself. It's still extremely lucky. He can only do 5 runs pr hour anyway, so there's a cap. He did 21 runs
