From the observable changes so far, this new expansion sounds like a chance to try this game over.

I think MoP was and is the worst expansion and blizz seems to be fixing that or trying to in WoD.
Please keep in mind that to the game developers endgame content is the priority and however the dominos fall to us from max level changes is not a big issue to them.

Overall the new racial changes, stat changes, Squish, commodities, and class changes will potentially be for the best- IK ITS TO EARLY TO BE MY HAPPY AND OPTIMISTIC SELF BUT DEAL WITH IT- and if they aren't who gives a crap, we have always managed to walk and limp by it.

Lets hope for the best and thanks for the great feedback!!!!

There are many blanket changes. It appears practically everything is getting changed. Only time will tell if it is for the better for lower PvP.. Change is always nice. If it was always the same, it would be very boring and dull. I welcome the changes, both positive and negative.

Arms is the PvP spec, and with hamstring an effect of mortal strike, you'd struggle to justify not using it. It depends on final numbers though. It's far too soon to know what damage/HP/healing will be to comment on what is and isn't viable.

As for enchants, aren't a lot of them being removed or downgraded? At least that was the stated intent at one point. No more hit on items either. Everyone is capped, or are they just going to make everyone miss at a set rate? Hit becomes crit on items, and where items have hit and crit, the hit becomes haste.

I'm fine with most of the changes. Those linked tabards will probably add some fun variety to people's mogs.

That's right people, neck and ring enchants.

I think it'll be very interesting seeing how many changes would be made compared to the cata-mop transaction. I know that my hunter with about 2000 in bgs would be almost nerfed to the ground now. but I do see for the most part that my characters wouldn't be affected that much. but all I know is this; RIP Inner Fire.

Yeah in some way they will!

kind of think if your just new to the game, you'll have a lot of catching up to do compared to 1+ year old accounts with the amount of heirloom gear.

blizzard said less items would be enchanted but from what is loaded on wowhead, wowdb, etc it is showing two new enchants for necklaces and rings (not ench-proff-ring only becuase that is being taken away)

as for gear, they said that hit, expertise, dodge and parry will be removed, also have said that gear with those stats will be converted to crit or haste based on if the item already has for stats. based on what they have said in the past about +spell damage being removed, attack power being converted to stats of the user of the item, and resistance being gone. they are selective, forgetful, not thorough, and may only apply to the current upcoming expansion.

when it come to blizzard when all is said and done...more was said than done

There are data-mined heirloom items that have been on Wowhead for years that have never made it in game. Keep that in mind when you want to start complaining about neck enchants that we have absolutely no idea whether they will ever make it live or not...

Well , since Ghostcrawler left idk.... and im not new !

from what i can tell heres how its going down . the effects of str -> ap are nerfed from 2 to 1 . but the attack power scaling to weapon dos is buffed from 1 dps per 14 attack power to 1 dps per 3.5 attack power.

now what does this mean . ????? 1str in mop = 2 ap mop @ 14 ap per DPS= 1/7 weapon dps now 1 str = 1 ap @ 3.5 dps per ap = 1/3.5 dps

BASICLY the benefit to weapon dps over all is doubled . so ur auto attacks should hit harder in WOD

now all abilities are having base damage removed so blizz says they will tweak the %wep damage to compensate

also crit is nerfed in bgs so its relative benefit compared to haste and primary stats is less ( ignoring class benefits to crits ect )

now how does this play into spells based off attack power ( judgement ect) , well if nothing changes they will be weaker by like half cause ur ap will be lower but i have to assume bliz will do something with the conversions so its up in the air.

1) 24s ( assuming enchants and spells available and gear ect. stay the same ) will be stronger . sad panda is sad
2 ) assuming orc racial isn't nerfed the benefit of the 32 attack power or what ever you get will be multiplied by 4 :O . ( orc arms warrior SMASH!!!!!!)

Weapon damage is being reduced. HP is going up. There are far too many factors to start thinking you're going to do more damage at 20/24.

It's far too soon to know what numbers will go live. It's also pretty safe to assume the game will be broken when they bring these changes in, and that they will change them again shortly after they do.
