WoD Hierloom Tab, will the f2p standards change?

How about this...

I will do everything I can to make my characters better/stronger/faster without giving Blizzard $15 a month. If that means stealing some of the shit I earned when I was on the Blizzard payroll, then that makes it that much sweeter when Blizzard sucks my dick.

If F2P's have access to the tab, it will be great for pure F2P's. No more farming BoA's for both hunter and rogues or druids, etc... Sharing trinkets, etc...

Although I have a feeling when you 'copy' an item from the tab, it won't have enchants on it.

The f2p bracket has a chance to be less about traditional twinking and more about competitive PVP at a lower level. Most twink brackets have been about gearing to do more damage than your bracket's average HP pool can handle. With f2p restrictions this bracket can be more about the sport of PVP than about making your character's strength do all the work for you.

If you want to use p2p enchants, use 24s, etc. and you're having fun, that's fine. But I believe you will have more fun if you're on par with the majority of the bracket, and feel better about yourself when you do great things.

In most real life sports nowadays, everyone has to play by the same rules, and those kinds of sports fill stadiums. Not many people are going to gladiator arenas nowadays to watch 7 foot tall warriors kill peasant thieves. The world is kinda over that and most people like to root for the underdog.

Most people root for the winners.

One merely needs spend a very short time looking up the most popular sports teams and seeing the correlation of that popularity with the number of championships won.

True. But they became winners on a level playing field. When Bill Belichick and the patriots were caught filming other teams plays they took a lot of flak for it. Now people call him Belicheat.

No one would root for the Cowboys, "Americas Team" if they had the special privilege of having 12 men on the field... no matter how many games they won.

In the next expansion trials linked to thier p2p accounts will be able to get fully enchanted full hierlooms only accessible by a paid account, while pure f2ps will not have access.

Will this change the morals of the f2p community, will this be acceptable?

Most of the enchants will be removed so i really doubt if we will be able to keep the ENCHANTED heirlooms. :p

That's valid, I guess. The counter would be that while they didn't have 12 guys on the field, they DID have about 10 Hall of Famers on the field. Is that a level playing field? Barry Sanders would have 25,000 yards if he had Dallas' O-line. But there are a LOT more Emmit Smith fans out there. I wonder why...

Yeah you're right. But that's the whole point. They became hall of famers on a level playing field. And every team has the same salary cap, so it's not like the cowboys paid extra money *wink* to have a stronger team. If 24s became 20s we would be able to tell who had hall of fame WoW talent. And a lot of them do, but there's no way to really know, so they're playing really well but it goes unappreciated. If Barry Sanders wore a jetpack he wouldn't be in the hall of fame.

Barry Sanders is also one of the humblest people alive but thats another story...

And I don't know about that.. he did make the cover of Madden 25. Barry Sanders would've had the most career yards if he had played for as long as Emmit Smith, even without Dallas' O-Line

Obviously the enchants aren't going to stick onto these boas. Once you get the boa it's unlocked in a tab, you're able to freely place the boa into your bags, but I'm 100% sure it won't be enchanted lol.

You are 100% sure, how? Got a blue post or a message from a developer to back up your claim?

The F2P standard Will change if we have access To the tab. Almost everyone who frequents this website has, or had a p2p account. Whether or not enchants Will stay on the BoAs or not remains unknown. But im not putting any money on it.

Yea , it wont be chaninted , either you have TO MAIL the chanted boa , there will only be models of hte boa with no ENCHANTS !

I speculate that the enchants won't stick . Even if they did I probably wouldn't use them .

P2p enchants are a trip. I have a lvl 11 resto druid. With Windsong procs I'm seeing 1.2 Wrath cast times and 80% crit. That's with only wearing BOAs. All other slots are empty. No Cata or Mists enchants on the gear.
