What would us f2p benefit from a possible upgrade to Cata when WoD comes out? Ive been curious for a while.

For example: when trials had BC, we were able to go to outland, buy some knickknacks here and there, etc.

When we had (and still have) Wotlk, we could go to Northrend, gain rep through justice, Buy tabards, precious ribbon, explore Northrend for Tabard of the Explorer (an epic item for a f2p? Fuck yea) and eventually the DK glitch (which was unexpected).

Anyone have any ideas of what is in store for us next expansion? I would love to be able to get my hands on something that might be beneficial to my stats/looks.

Or will blizzard even give players the Cata Expansion?

We got cata just a few months ago, hence why archaeology is available to f2ps. I'm expecting we get MoP next year during the holidays when blizz adds it to the battlechest.
 
I expect that by next year F2Ps will have access to monks.

I would expect that to be a net positive, since monks seem to have some anti-hunter anti-rogue mechanics while still being a relatively high skill ceiling / skill floor.
