Items to grab from Horde side [Paladin]

I am about to transfer over my old 19 twink paladin from a dead realm onto a new realm, and turning it into a 24 twink. Before I do that, however, I was wondering if the people familiar with this bracket could post a few items exclusive to the Horde side that would be worth picking up. Doesn't necessarily have to be BiS items; it could also be vanity items or items that could potentially have some use.

If anyone know what Blizzard's policy on restoring old unobtainable quest items is, I would also love to hear from you. The reason I ask, is that I have the old http://www.wowhead.com/item=5462 on my character, but switching over to Horde and back to Alliance would delete it. Do you guys reckon they would refund it? I got mixed signals from the sources I checked on my own, but maybe some of you have more direct experience with it.

Sincerely,
Intercept

Also, I have no idea if this would work, but you could try keeping it though Blizzard's auto-item restoration service.

1. Delete Rod
2. Transfer
3. Get Goodies
4. Transfer Back
5. Go into item restoration , restore it.
6. Rod.

Just a theory, This was used by people for transmog helms and such, where they would refund the purchase but keep them via this method.

I would relevel to 24, not many levels, and you avoid loosing a 19.

I come from the 19, 29, 39 and 60 brackets pre-XP off. Seeing all of those brackets slowly wither away over the last years because of people giving up has bummed me out. I have a lot of spare time, and I am very passionate about twinking, and thus all I would do should I pick up my 19s again would be to stay afk outside of SW while being queued for hours on end. While I can appreciate that you guys do get pops, the 20-24 bracket has activity almost around the clock, which is what I miss the most; being able to log in to play with friends whenever I want to. If the 19 bracket ends up getting more activity in the future, I could always just use some of my others characters should I decide to return.

This was my original plan, but seeing as the rod is actually considered a quest item, I doubt it would work. I guess I could always contact Blizzard and ask about the limitations of the restoration service.

In part due to the fact there's some quests that share rewards that you'd need for another spec. I.E. Be Raptor you might want a hit ring if you're Prot or Ret. But if you're Holy you're gonna want Belt and Boots. Which would require both turn ins of Be Raptor. Meaning you'd to skip the ring entirely.

Test it with another test item with a use effect.

You can get the gear you're obtaining for your 24 in a few days, you'll never be able to get what you have for your 19 again.

Mock Horde Exclusives List - (To Start)

Gear You May Equip:
Outlaw Sabre - Outlaw Sabre - Item - World of Warcraft
Overlord's Favor - Overlord's Favor - Item - World of Warcraft
Boots of the Hero - Boots of the Hero - Item - World of Warcraft (Not BiS but a decent item to have. If you can get Ceverndeep Trudgers (Caverndeep Trudgers - Item - World of Warcraft) then just get the Gloves of the Hero - http://www.wowhead.com/item=65701/gloves-of-the-hero. Problem is that both quest rewards, Gloves and Boots, are actually substitutes until Hotshots Pilot's Gloves Hotshot Pilot's Gloves - Item - World of Warcraft or Caverndeep Trudgers.)
Shield of Uncurbed Appetite - Shield of Uncurbed Appetite - Item - World of Warcraft
Seal of Argas - Seal of Argas - Item - World of Warcraft (Pick up this one both times you do Never Again, for your Holy set. Heavy Silver Ring (Heavy Silver Ring - Item - World of Warcraft) of the Bear is +5 Str +5 Stam and is worth getting over the +5 Str +4 Stam Band of Argas)
Band of Raptor Teeth - Band of Raptor Teeth - Item - World of Warcraft (I would get the Band on Horde side, then Belt on Alliance side. The boots can be sorta substituted by Acidic Walkers(http://www.wowhead.com/item=9454/acidic-walkers). On a Crit based Holy set.)
Axe of the Judgement Day - Axe of the Judgment Day - Item - World of Warcraft
Stillwater's Signet - Stillwater's Signet - Item - World of Warcraft
Band of Predmeditated Murder (If you're ever interested in messing with a high crit set.) - Band of Premeditated Murder - Item - World of Warcraft
Pocket-Nuke Belt (More Stam than Belt of the Soldier from dungeon reward bag but less Crit/Str. Just worth having around.) - Pocket-Nuke Belt - Item - World of Warcraft

Cosmetics/Transmog:
Greatmace of the Order - http://www.wowhead.com/item=65471
Shovel of Mercy(Must-Have) - http://www.wowhead.com/item=65667
Running out of things to suggest. Hah.

I just tested this with another rod I had on a warrior I no longer play, just to be safe, and it does in fact turn up in my item restoration window. Before I did this, I also deleted some random quest items from some of my other characters, but it turns our most quest items, when deleted, abandons the associated quest. I am guessing it works with the rod since it is not tied to any quests anymore. I still wonder if it's possible to transfer & faction change, get my items, then faction change back to Alliance, and still retain the option to restore it. I sure hope so.
