Clash of Titans v2

Watching the games, I think were Stubs had the edge on Sputnick was that he joined the DPS very often, getting that little bit extra they needed for the kill. Also racials were better for offensive play. Still good games to watch, looking forward to Saturday :)

Yeah, Stubs is a more aggressive druid. He did much more damage than I did, and I did much more healing than he did. But in the end, he resolved with his racial 3 out the 3 games. Nothing I could do there, as I accepted the challenge even knowing that he was a tauren.

You did more healing cuz you were in the team that got pressurised all night long.
it's sad you qq about racials now cuz you were playing against Hurrx with stomp aswell and you didn't say anything.
looking forward saturday.

I don't get your point. First of all, I already admited that Stubs is a much more aggressive druid, which means he puts more pressure on us. Second, I'm not "qqing" about racials, just saying it's more of an aggressive racial, compared to shadowmeld (which only serves to deselect target, at best). I also pointed out that we accepted the challenge as it was (knowing he was playing a Tauren and I was playing Nelf). So I also don't see your point here.

And third but not the least, that match agains't Hurrx wasn't even long enough to prove anything. It lasted 40sec, if that. Already discussed that with Hurrx.

So I don't really get you. But yeah, I'm looking forward to Saturday aswell.

You can meld a poly and a counter spell aswell with meld even a nova. it's not only to make your opponent deselect you as target.

Lol, and how do you think that works? They deselect you. Duh.

That's not how it works.

If a mage casts frostbolt on you and it's already in the air, you can use shadowmeld to avoid getting hit by it. It just disappears. That's also the case with polymorph, war stomp, wrath and everything else.

Frost nova is an AoE spell so I don't see how it would miss due to them deselecting you as a target.

I didn't even mention especific on-hit spells. All I'm saying is that it diselects a Poly (in those circunstances), for example.

Also, I see 2 people contraditing eachother. Do you even play Nelf?

You can use it to dodge a polymorph by your opponent deselecting you. Just like you can dodge it with a prowl or a stealth. That's because the cast doesn't go off, though, and requires you to use it a bit before the spell is cast. Shadowmeld can be used to dodge polymorph even if the cast goes off.

If you get out of combat in time, yeah. But the point being shadowmeld can be used to prevent an incomming spell. That's why I use it, to either mitigate damage or prevent CC. I also used it on the 2nd video to see what would happen with War Stomp (you can confirm it yourself), and I still got caught in War Stomp.

Meld don't just make you deselect

I'm pretty sure that if you smeld when a spell is already casted (like a Wrath, for example), you'll still be hit by the Wrath. Also, someone was saying that you can prevent an incomming PS from a priest by smelding, that's also incorrect.
