On topic: I will probably fiddle with a Lock in the near future. Underplayed classes deserve a little more face time. Have yet to see a fully geared 24 Lock in action.

This is whats gonna happen.

Youre gonna spend awhile gearing your lock and giving him all the shiny broken enchants and whatnot.

Then you're going to play somewhere between 1 and 10 games of WSG.

Then you're never going to play that toon again.
 
If you are thinking on rolling a 24 lock! It's great, really cant see those ppl tlaking bad about it, sure it isnt good in duels, but in bg's and wargames they are insane. They have SO much burst, yes they do not have the best survivbility in the bracket, and yes you will have to think about your play style and not go FULL yolo, but they are the most fun class to play (imo). I can only say that I am really glad for my 24 Destroluck.

In my opinion locks are the funniest class to play, but even locks gets boring after a game or 2 as a 24..
 
I take that back, I am leveling a lock right now. I stopped in the 24 bracket for a bit to see. Man, destruction hits hard. I am getting 1200 conflag crits all the time. And I am not fully geared yet or have professions. Fear is retardedly OP at 7 full seconds now. Seduce works, but is not controllable. My succy hits pretty hard. It lacks some survivability, but I top the dps charts almost every time. Two conflags, insta casts, kills a lot of people.

I don't get how people are complaining, must be terrible players... I'm constantly getting the top spot for every game I play. It's actually a little ridiculous that hunters aren't topping me. PICK UP YOUR GAME HORDE!

Well pugs are alot different from wargames/premades, but I will admit that warlocks are a great class, I play one my self^^ And it's also the most fun class I have played yet. I think the reason people do not play warlock is the lack of survivability, 2 weeks ago I had 3 people asking me about lock and they even made one themself, but after a couple of days they ended up rerolling mage or sprick.

But as you say locks really do great damage, and probally has one of the best bursts in the game if you ask me.
 
Destro is good burst. Afflction is really good also for 24 premades with the right comp. Check out Lightmama on wow armory he is the best warlock in the bracket.
