how is serpent better for a boomkin? surely the hit from the spirit would be more beneficial than the extra intellect. Right? do boomkins still get hit from spirit? I don't play one.

nah, 4 spi for 4 int is a poor trade off, can get hit from other sources.
He should swap cloak to battle healers
neck to brilliant
bracers to owl bracers
legs to gaze dreamer
and shoulders to preened iron feather.

Ok, i chossed another quest reward, started this char when i was a noob xD
Took like the rewards that gave most armor haha
I got a battle healers/caretakers cape in bank didnt knew it scale better

I compared gaze dreamers with blackfathom and gaze gives 4 int and 4 spirit while blackfathom give 5 stam 46 armor and 7 crit (over 2%)

i would say blackfathom
Ik spirit gives hit but...
I want as much crit as possible without sacrificing too much int/stam/hit, <3 Starsurge 1 k crits
