Korgath F2P Arena Activity

Shft

Legend
Recently I have been back on my p2p where my main resides on Korgath and I've seen lots of f2p arenas going on and I think it would be a great idea to promote it some more!

This week I hope some of you will join me in rolling on Korgath alliance! DMF is in full swing and back to back AB call to arms means this is a perfect time to start your character.

You will be joined by me along with other Korgath veterans with plenty of p2p power to go around. Of course as you may already know this is not a server exclusively for arena but for battlegrounds too! If you are apprehensive about playing arena please don't let that stop you from joining us. I personally am also pretty nervous stepping inside the arena.

You can find the original Korgath recruitment thread here!

You can expect games every day and a tighter-knit environment than a big server such as Aerie Peak.

Check out a lovely podcast by the Korgath players over at Twinking.net!

If you are worried about drama then I personally assure you that we are leaving the drama behind.

Welcome to Korgath.

We can use P2P to help anyone with gearing up as well as getting the DMF items.

I'll just say this (not to cause drama but moreso give my opinion) Awhile ago back before this server actually took off and arenas were done on AP H my bud izac was doing some arenas with the wizkids. I've never seen anything special in bgs from them but I've also never played any arenas with them so I didn't really have an opinion on them until I saw one of their streams and saw how much they were bashing Izac and how they were talking crap in their vent or w/e it was. Now I often hear how good they are and how they are the best so if they are that rude or childish I can only imagine the rest of the people associated with them.

Seeing that stupid drama in the ss thread kinda reassured what I thought.. I am in noway great and probably not even good at arenas but the other day when I did a few arenas with fael and brov I just kept thinking to myself what they may have been saying about me in skype. Kinda hard for someone to want to learn to arena or even attempt arenas when they have that thought in their head.. If I was the only person thinking this I'd keep quiet but I know I'm not and I know that's a reason why some people aren't getting into arenas that much over there.. People have given off the impression or do give off the impression of being elitist jerks who don't accept people trying to learn which makes the players accepted there extremely narrow.

Not saying korgath is like this or the people who are playing there are atm as I don't have much experience with any of them but in the past that's how it's been and if it's the same people from the past it's probably the same attitudes.. Just my 2c

As you said this was before the server was started. i assure you we respect all of our players and want to help them improve themselves in pvp as it says from swags mouth himself on the main thread. They are really nice if you get to know them and extremely helpful in the arena scene. I do not know of any personal problems they may have had with izac nor is it none of my business but i assure you if him or anyone were to come to the server they would be treated as equals, and would love to get them into arenas as soon as possible.

We have a skype group btw that we would gladly add anyone to if they ask.

I assure you the drama in the screenshot thread is not what you can expect here. I was not aware of the full situation and I feel like I've made a fool of myself. Me and Twinkenstein are settled (he's very funny but perhaps a bit rough around the edges :D) and if other people plan on bringing their drama to the server, I will not be having any of it.

Almost everyone uses Skype on Korgath, so if you do not use Skype then yes you might feel left out. Some people use Skype without a mic and just listen to the other team members.

Arena is about perfecting every action of your character and working as a team.

Not every game will be friendly to new comers, we specifically have to host "casual" games when helping a new player.

Even with everything mentioned in your post, if you want to learn about Arena then Korgath is the place to be. We have the best community for hosting fun Arena matches and the "elitism" is minimal.

to clarify what kochi is saying a bit, we aren't going to put you up against a stacked team of people who have been doing arenas for a long time, unless it doesnt matter to you, but most people would rather be eased into arenas and have players like that on their team if they are new to the arena scene to give them pointers, or go against other people like them and learn from each other.
