Is f2p fun?

Im really thinking of going for a f2p account. ive always been 24 since 19s died. Is it more fun to create an account from scratch or connect a f2p account to my main account?

I have a fully loomed and enchanted 24's but I took it as granted I should win* 1v1 (depending on class) unless they get lucky crits or really outskill me. Now I also have F2P I feel a hell of a lot smugger every time I win a 1v1, mainly due to the fact they can't blame the lose on my looms or enchants because everything I have is available to them as well.
But each to their own.

*This was back when 20's wasn't scaling upto 24 and I had 1k more health than others my class.

Nice to hear you're thinking of making the switch.
Initially you may be apprehensive of the task ahead of you beginning on a new "pure" F2P (starting from scratch), but I think you'll enjoy it much more once you've put some time into it, just my input. And yes, F2P is fun

Yeah i like the fact you have to actaully make effort. having to put effort into gearing a toon makes it alot more exciting.

Yes it is fun, its like twinking at 19. Grinding gear is the only difference. Luck fishing hat, lvling proffs, except there is wayyyy toooo many prot paladins in this bracket.

F2P at times can not be fun, and damn right annoying.

However i feel its so rewarding, because you always have something to aim for, and when you get it, it feels amazing. More of a challenge.

Guilty for that, but prot pallys and hunters are so easy to get big numbers out your going to have loads of nubs rolling them because they see them top of the scoreboard and think they can do that as well because it must be their class holding them back.

no bracket (not even the 80s mop in which priests kill you with one penance) got me as mad as the f2p bracket.. but its still fun... sometimes

You will be spending alot of time farming but it is very self rewarding when you accomplish your goals.

Winning a bg where you're at a disadvantage feels pretty satisfying, and getting hard to obtain items on your trial gives you something to do. On the flip side losing too p2p 20s/24s who aren't very skilled, but have a wall of stats can be frustrating

For me in most cases no because most of the classes blow (IMO) compared to some other classes.

As a Priest, I can beat almost anyone and then it's frustrating when another healer or Ret want to duel because it's endless.

I started twinking at 24, but it wasn't nearly as fun as f2p. I felt stupid if I died to a f2p and most of the 24s didn't want competitive matches, just faceroll ones. When I finally went f2p, I enjoyed the large community and had a lot more fun. I suggest you make a f2p account first and gear one to see what it feels like, but if you get tired of grinding just follow f2p restrictions on a p2p.

It is... just DON'T make a: 1. Hunter, 2. Prot paladin or 3. Rogue. There is 2 much of those plagueing the bracket!

Play 90: Vs 4 mages and several Spriests and Hunters and mass CC's.
Play 20: Druids, Paladins, Rogues, Hunters and Priests.

Well i know what i will pick. Too bad 5.4 will send this bracket straight to heck.

The only difference is that on a linked f2p account, you'll get all the mounts and titles from your p2p. The gearing process and everything is exactly the same - a linked account still has all the restrictions.
