Hows EU, or How to Make the Best of US

Lately bg's US for me at least have been a bit lack luster, all I see are either 24's that just want to camp all game, or under geared f2p's that dont play objective in the least. I am personally getting very sick of going in to every bg regardless of faction, class, or even gear and being only 1 out of 2-4 players even trying to cap/return flags or assault/defend bases its been ruining the game for me, I have had to take about every other week off just to keep from uninstalling, this isnt to say that some games are fun, competitive, or filled with players that i know and can have a good time with. This being said these are my experiences US and may just reflect that i have been less tolerant or helpful in bg's, but I was wondering,

How are bg's EU side are they:

1) filled with people that just want to camp all bg
2) How objective are bg's
3) Is the bracket filled with 24's
4)How are que time
&
5)Is the primary language English or something else

could anyone respond with answers to these, and if I seem to like them I may roll EU,
or could someone tell me how to make the US bracket more enjoyable.
 
Well from a young crip perspective(Ally side):

1)Camping rarely happens, maybe when ur facing a german 24premade.
2)like 30-50% of the group plays objective in wsg, in AB its 80% of the time running from base to base and only 1or2 ppl stay at base captured.
3) yes, from 12:00 to 03:00, u will see couple of 24s.
4)queue times for wsg 2-7min, for AB 12-15min.
5)primary language is english but u see that more then 50% of ur team is from spanish realm quite often.
 
Rather useless post.
Complaining about theese things when you are playing the 20-24 bracket is hopeless and none of the things you stated will change.

No1 here its complaining, we are just stating the current situation of bracket in EU.

and yeah the eu players seem to be a lot more objective than us, which is nice since u.s. is all about camping the opposing team as often as possible
 
Ik ive seen them before but can someone tell me how to make it EU instead of US? I havent touched lil in a few weeks cuz the same reasons quin pointed out and maybe giving EU a chance would be better then quitting.. Isn't it somethin to do with just chaning some code from us to eu?

1.3 Changing your Region / Realm List

Keep in mind that changing the realmlist doesn't work since MoP, as the file doesn't exist anymore. If you want to play on servers not in your region, you have two options. You could install a separate client for the region you want to access, or change your WoW installation.

Here's a simple thing I tried with the MoP installation and that worked for me:
Changing your Client
Choose one:
  • edit your client and edit it back after, or
  • if you have the room, do what I did: copy the entire installation into another folder (called WoW 2 or something).
In the copy / in your client open the file Config.wtf in the WTF folder in any text editor (I used a code editor because Mac TextEdit screws code up sometimes).
Programs > World of Warcraft > WTF > Config.wtf
Find the line for your region:
SET locale "enGB" (or SET locale "enUS")
Change it to the region you want to play:
SET locale "enUS" (for US servers, or SET locale "enGB" for EU servers)
Save the file and that's it. :)
 
Thanks for the response Cripz, and Hu I think I will try EU out who knows i might stay EU if I like it. Also thanks Yde, I was just about to look for that Changing your Client guide.

*Novacane, I was not complaining about the bracket, I was simply stating what I think is wrong with it, so any player who suggests info for me would be informed, and i dont expect them to change, but maybe something could be done to help me enjoy the game more, such as switching to EU, in the future I hope you will take things like this into account before posting responses to me, I do not post just to complain.

For the Cmping is completely different for the horde lol ;) !
