I wouldn't say trolling, as I don't think it's trolling. However, the posts can be sometimes reek of hypocrisy. But, ah well, I'ma Disengage with Posthaste out of this conversation before I get rooted in the middle.

I have PLENTY of people who will say differently and idc what you think when there is probably a 25:1 ratio of people who think I'm good:avg atleast. I play with under 5 fps and over 200 ms so even if some bad troll thinks im above avg I'll take that as a compliment.
You want me to troll? Okie 95% of 24 hunts are completely horrible. I played a f2p hunt that learned to deal with 24 crutching hunts and beat them in cata. When a p2p hunt loses to a f2p hunt its quite sad (as with any p2p class losing to the f2p version). I told OP to start off with a hunt that isn't the "best" choice cuz when you play with the best choice you have nowhere to go. You can either start with a 21 hunt or p2p 20 with f2p restrictions and become better skilled then the fotm p2p 20s and 24s then once you are good enough you can go p2p 20 without restictions or 24 and completely faceroll with skill not crutching OR you can go right to p2p 20 or 24. THERE now I am trolling like both of you always like to do. I liked OP and I gave him better advice then either of you did.

I appriciate all this feedback, but i feel after all theese years playing this game i'm at the stage where i want to maximise the amount of beast and wreck shit up. I did the "become better" part a few years back (Not that i, in any way can't improve, i really can). Therefore i decided to go 22 for obvious reasons.

I'm pretty sure we've talked before in the f2p section and you had some toon links for your sig? I maybe wrong but I do recognize your TI name. Was really just trying to help you (hopefully you don't think I was trolling as well...) so you could work your way up and get better but for all means if you're already there then just go whatever level and kill people with skill ^-^
I'm not completely sure that 22 will be better then 24 in 5.4 because p2p 20 is on par with 24 atm with all the scaling but 20 would get better scaling then 22 I'd think. 20 and 24 would have the same stats (been shown by swoops somewhere before) however 22 would get counter shot but have worse stats then the previous two. So stat wise it would go 24=20>22 but considering the new ability I'd say it'd be 24>22>20 imo. It all really doesn't matter though since you already have skill any lv you choose>3/4 of this bracket

by going 24 all you're doing is forcing your self to run gnomer to be on par with a 20 p2p. by staying at 22 your gear will scale 2 levels, you'll have access to slightly better gear than 20s can get (in maybe 2 slots) . + you've got the scaling 24s don't have access to. if you don't like it go 24.

Honestly the only thing I would change going to 22 is replacing my Argas ring with a Heavy Silver Ring - Item - World of Warcraft of Agility (they scale to +9 at 22). You might be able to talk me into using RoP over DPR at 20 or 22 if I had one, both are good options. I'm curious about the stats on Ashen Gloves, I don't think I'd use them over Foreman's though. The expertise is too good to pass up.
I haven't checked out all the 22 scaling yet, but from what I've seen I expect stats to be better at 20. Of course, an interrupt is well worth a small loss in stats - you'll be best off at 22 if that stays in 5.4.

HoneyBadger thinks it would matter at how much top end damage you lose by leveling up 2 lvls and the amount of agility/AP lost in the process and based on your playstyle, after that then you make the call.
