Rogue Weapons

Quick question about rogue weapons. What's my best choices without BoA's and shadowfang that are still relatively easy to get? Tailspike?

Assassination? Roll with wsg dagger and impish blade or tail spike probably.

Otherwise I'd honestly say WSG Sword, Skeletal Mace or Cruel Barb and Thief's Blade

What mocha said or if you can get your hands on an assassin's blade for the hit is always a good choice and wsg dagger. I am going to try meter shard dropped off Sfk to see how viable it is.

Just gotta say I've always run sub on my other rogues. I'm still leveling. No boa's.... Anyway, went assassin and Ambush + Mutilate = dead mob. Love it.

That's what I use for arenas / prems... honestly Sub with nighstalker is fun for pugs... especially if you have tunic of westfall / argas x2 but assassination does way more damage and doesn't require shadowfangx2, argas or tunic of westfall which is why I suggest cata+ rogues starting with assassination... also in a premade scenario subterfuge is much more viable because either a) you'll be going for 1 ambush and then running out of the enemy mid pack (in which case they won't even notice you after you ambush and you'll be out of any novas before you leave stealth) or b) dropping an efc with stacks in which case nighstalker is completely useless. (don't forget about gamechanging restealthes while dotted)

So I ended up with one Tail Spike - Item - World of Warcraft and Keeshan's Dagger - Item - World of Warcraft. Without BoA I was missing a lot of hit so I got Ello's Band - Item - World of Warcraft as well.

thats all good but u wanna get the scarlet kris daggers ASAP with a weapon chain the hit is too good!

It feels like the same amount damage when the situation calls for sustain but with mutilate you can dump your energy in less globals making it more bursty.

I secure kills so much more consistently than any sub rogue...

Double ambush openers with subterfuge blows sub openers out of the water. Like, It's not even close.
