US 19 Bracket Status

Boomkins are in my opinion the most effective class in terms of landing kills, but unfortunately I have yet to see a Boomkin that actually plays the class properly. Every single one just tab DoTs all game and sure they top the charts by 50k, but they helped land a grand total of 0 kills throughout the game. A boomkin that actually used starsurge more than 5 times per WSG would probably be the best boomkin in the bracket, honestly

I'm guessing you've never seen pizza play before

I left for six months and came back, and I feel like the status of the bracket is the exact same as when I left it. Boomkins and druids overall are still overpowered, hunters got an unneeded boost. Pizza may have changed his guild name and his attitude about afk'ing games but he's still the same guy who refuses to lose and will queue with 4-5 guildmates in order to win a pug game.

Pizza, queue solo on a class that isn't an overpowered, flavor of the month class. Solo queue on a rogue or a warrior without your team backing you up. Let's see if you fare like the rest of the 90% of the bracket that solo queues into games just to see what happens and play the game. I'm not going to waste time butting heads with you and your guild who value winning over the quality of the bracket, but I'd like to see how you do playing the game the way most of us play the game.

I liked things better when healing was MORESO out of control. Reason being in cata the offensive strategy for killing a target is burst it. If it didn't die, dps it harder. In mop these people tried to burst down targets. It did nothing and they sat the whole game trying to burst it harder not understanding why the target isn't dying instead of dropping CC in there. Right now it's in between the two.

Ele shams in my opinion (if played correctly) shouldn't really be looked at for their overall damage. Punt and shear is where it's at. I see lots of ele shams going for overall damage to compete with boomies yet never leave mid and/or only have 3 interrupts a game. I personally am absolutely not a pro or anything and I'm usually focusing on punts, purges and shears as those matter more than dps with no results.

Just my two cents.

But really the bracket is the same 19s bracket it's been. I was chatting with Vegan and Anarcan today... Anar wants to play 19s with veg and I yet veg is crying that travel form breaks the bracket.... honestly if you solo queue on a prot WOTLK geared warrior, you're gonna have a bad time.

If you go in with a decent class (or a healer) and an optimistic attitude, you may actually have fun. I can tell you I've seen WAY MORE amazingly fun and competitive games in MOP than in cata that's for sure. The bracket has improved by leaps and bounds since the WT A team 100k HK farm imo. I'm having way more fun solo queuing now than I did then! I see several games be won at the last minute which is awesome. Usually the horde has it in the bag, looses with seconds left and horde players start complaining. I never mind since we're talking about pugs, and if the losing team doesn't completely afk out at first sight of competition, they may achieve a winning result no matter what and deserve the Victory.

Cheers

The key to being a good elemental shaman is to do both.

Drayner if you're thinking of coming back, play Warlock first. Locks like Dori and Youredead are close to the top of the charts and are very affective in BTB's secret mid strat..

Joking aside you would probably like where Locks are currently on the totem pole..

many players rerolled into boomkins who were hunters, they may say out of boredom, etc.(lies) when you roll into some BGs and you'll understand how they are OP thru just spamming DOTs and HOTs

hunters are still good,

as another poster said and imo is correct, you should roll into BGs and see for yourself.

people claiming ele-shams are great, they are great becuase they generally rolled with in pug-mades

if you have dual factioned twinks and get included in the win-logging pug-mades you will enjoy your warlock in dest-spec.

WTF is a pug-made you may ask? thru CRZ, etc communication it's basic 3-5 players from one server to look like a only a same server mini made, but it's basicly a 7-9 man premade in disguise

You would have even an iota of a point if I had quit TI and then made a return thread stating that I had changed my ways.

yes, cuz at no point can we remember you not liking what pizza stood for and constantly moaning about WT
