Any tips for Iron Forge Bonfire?

I did use the tram after SW, what i need a location 'Next' to the Bonfire where i can complete the loot cast.

At the moment as soon as i rez and loot guards one shot me. Seems impossible to do solo as a f2p.

None of you seem to understand.

I am at the Bonfire already, I dont need to rez run. What i need is some info on a certain spot I can stand and loot the Bonfire long enough to finish the Loot Cast without being one shot.

SW, Darn and Exo were easy ... IF seems impossible.


UPDATE: 2 hours now, still no luck. Even tried logging off and back on to let CRZ load and give me a few extra secs of time before guards load on. i still get one shot.
 
You need to do some macros and key bindings. I haven't tried this year, but was able to get it last year after many tries. I believe this is how I did it:

  1. Keybind your “interact with target” to a key (its under Targeting Functions in the keybind menu).
  2. Select your target while you’re still a ghost and then accept the rez (make sure you’re very close to the target),
  3. As soon as you rez, start bashing the key you just bound until the quest dialog pops up.
  4. Use the below macro and mash the crap out of it as soon as you see the quest dialog pop up.
/script SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1)
/run QuestRewardCompleteButton_OnClick()
It looks like “Interact with Target” is a secure action and can’t be included in a macro…so the above four steps are as fast as (it looks like to me anyway) it gets. it looks like it still takes a good 2-3 seconds…so my alternate plan of just sitting there on fri-sat night until someone else comes along and distracts the guards is probably the better option.

You can also try waiting for a P2P to arrive at peak hours. A 90 will probably end up coming and pulling the guards. Then you can safely ress and take the fire. It might take a while if you're on a unpopulated server, though.

In-city bonfires are different, there's no need to click anything other than the bonfire itself and once the "castbar" is complete a quest item gets automatically added to your inventory.

Yep , Ik its the hardest ive done with druid , even throw u need another account to level the paladin to lv 20 than u can use bubble , while your other char not pally is standiing there , ress with pally and use bubble , the guards will attack him , and u need to be quick stealing the flame , when u steal it use ress sickness than RUN FOR yOUR Life , but do it quick bro , u dont have alot of time , !!! This will 100% help you ! Have funn =) !

You need another high level or a pally to distract the guards. I did this with a 90 hunter in Org, just pulled the nearby guards and dropped an explosive trap to pickup any stragglers. Without help you'll just have to pray someone aggros all the guards, but most 90s doing the quest will only pull the very closest ones.

I have an addon that insta accepts the quest. My issue is im unable to finish the loot cast to grab the fire item to start the quest.

As soon as I rez i getOne Shot, i have tried multiple locations. Nothing gives me a long enough delay that i can finish the loot cast timer. Closest i got the timer to finish was half way.

Yea, was hoping to solo it as i dont like to depend on others too much since i know the hassle of asking someone to rez run just for me.

Still , its impossible to get it alone without help at this lv !
