people need to stop hatin so much..

bignixon

Not Important
straight up, i play both sides.
most people i know play both sides.
why all the horde prejudice/hate....?
FFS?

EDIT- meant horde/ally, not just horde

Their would be no point in creating two factions in game if there wasnt an attempt to create a little indignation on either end towards the other side.

Kinda like war

And more of the time someone is complaining about the other side, its about a certain class or race in particular...

IE for me its night elf hunters, or human paladins, because it doesnt get much more dime a dozen.

LOL
but seriously we all are players..
we all try.. i think..
why the /spitting and other hateful emotes..?
just wondering why people feel the need to hate..

also- to Oldspike, wasn't calling out a class/faction (i did accidentally name horde only, but i edited) just meant the /spit /laugh /whatever is being a douche. just wondering why SO MUCH HATE. we are all people, when i faceroll peeps i don't /spit /lol /fuckyou or w/e is all..

Its just because they feel threatened by them,

THEY HAVE BIGGER DICKS!

/spit on them!

If anything when someone does a emote like that they are /spiting on themselves, best to just ignore it (platitude but true).

I don't really think anyone hates the other faction, i think the emote "playing" is just because when kids kill someone they feel achieved because they have achieved close to nothing in real life and it makes them feel better. Realistically, I've never seen someone go "them god damn horde, look like fucking fags with their red ass background and ugly wanna-be badass lookin mounts." A+ for attempting to rage at horde like a little kid? :D

but really, vid record a mature 21+ year old player and see if ANY of them do that. yea, just a kids thing. Maybe start giving out happy meals and they will feel a little better.

A+++++ to anyone who gets the happy meal joke

Ive never seen someone get emote-ed in WSG....
B.T.W...Well from all da wow history dis troll has read ... the alliance thinks of them self as da (thought-to-be) pure clean owners of azeroth and they've allowed worgens (originally from another dimension) and draenei (from another planet) to their cause... thats why when I see alliance I dont emote them I make sure they pay many many long trips to the spirit healer...

Sometimes the emotes are there by accident. For example I have an addon that triggers a random emote when I get a killing blow. When I downloaded the addon it was for a different purpose and that the emotes came with the addon. I think its Miks scrolling text but Im not too sure. (Sorry if Im /spitting on people,Dont know how to turn that off.)So yeah, its not always hate.

If you have PKBlow (plays kill sounds ect) it auto-emotes. I always forget to turn it off but since the default is to random and the first random is hug, I just get a lot of [Make Love Not Warcraft] achvs

To OT, I definitely emote when I have a point to make. Like backpeddling. I will emote the heck out of anyone using excessive s-key, because it's physically painful to watch and maybe if I /facepalm them enough they'll stop D:

Competitiveness is good.

But starting to hate and goings nuts in a game, which you play to have fun, is stupid.

I use highfive emotes, though. :0

I think most of this forum favors horde. Not sure why since the majority of pugs favor ally but TI F2P is obviously horde favored... I don't really see any faction hate besides the eyepatch. I rarely see ally bringing up horde advantages and the eyepatch is acceptable QQ since LFH is purely RNG.

I /spit on all gy farmers
I used to /pity OBVIOUS premade facerollers
I now /golfclap obvious crutchers/premaders
I gave up on 24s so I really don't emote then much..

In the end of the day I play this game for fun. While I do know that other people play for the same reason MY fun is more important to me. I don't intentionally make sure I make other peoples game absolutely crap by stacking my odds which is way more then some people I know of (constant 5 man 24 premades or AP failmades). I QQ about 24s and premades cause ATLEAST 75% of the time they suck and need to crutch.. People like QQ'ing about hunters cause they are easy to play and the avg hunt can beat a slightly above avg player. People don't like when something ruins their gameplay.. It's kind of obvious but it's a given. Now when someone bitches about someone ruining their gameplay then turns around and does exactly what they were just upset about ruining someone elses game they have absolutely no reason to hate and no point really imo.

HB and his guild comes to mind.. I don't want to make this a flame war but it's obvious he is avg at best. He is a crutching 24 and ruins my gameplay. Whether he be in a 5 person horde premade or a 5 person ally premade he ruins my games. I don't find "controlling" gy for 5 minutes while my team 3 caps fun. I don't find getting "gy contained" for 5 minutes while horde 3 caps fun.. Either way it's a win win for him and a lose lose for me.

If someone gives me the excuse "oh we're just premading with friends" (when I am obviously not talking about an avg premade.. I'm talking about all the constant 5 person 3 healer 2 other fotm premades that constantly faceroll) or "counter it or quit playing" (I should not have to play to counter a possible faceroll by making my own premade to then faceroll when I face a bad horde group) I will not reply. Just my thoughts on this topic..

I'm not sure. Some of the vile messages i got on here, in game in my mailbox and in my email back when we would list for realid is pretty over the top. I never return it to them.. i usually say "thanks for the unsolicited commentary on my play" even level 1's in org yelling about how much i suck. lol Those really turn my frown upside down.

I guess in general... People need to suck less.

I think Shinto Katana explain it best - How can you expect me to fucking love, In a world that showed me nothing but hate. Nothing but hate.

Why did Blizzard add these emotes, then? So you can basically communicate with the other faction. There's good emotes and rude emotes for a reason.

Think of it as playing around, like in Hockey, Football or Soccer. You don't actually -hate- the people when you /spit, you're just doing it because you're against them.

Orcs - dumb creatures from another world, killed my friends.
Trolls - fucked up my Arathi.
Undeads - were ok, till I saw my grandma as rogue among them.
Blood Elves - gayish.
Goblins & Taurnes - did nothing bad for da alliance, so they're good, probably.

FOR DA ALLIANCE!

Not quite.

The Alliance:

Hates all orcs because of what the ones in the Burning Legion did.
Hates all trolls based on the actions of tribes they'd encountered before the Darkspears.
Hates the Forsaken thanks to the Scarlet Crusade convincing everyone that all undead are evil regardless of who's controlling them, preventing Alliance members from seeing those not under the control of the Lich King as just family members with a tendency to decompose.
Abandoned the High Elves in their time of need. Granted some of them did become corrupted and turn into Naga, and cause the Great Sundering, but then some of the Night Elves succumbed as well, becoming satyrs. No-one started hating on them. Or the Draenei for that matter. They got corrupted too, some becoming Eredar. The Alliance really has some double standards.
Taurens and Goblins, they joined the Horde. That's clearly enough reason to hate them too.

The Horde:

Hates being persecuted.
