After scaling:There is need for deep analysis with many samples from BG's, but I think that set bonus from WC is not needed, because of it you lose pretty much crit and some agi, foreman gloves are BIS of course, cause they're only 1agi worse than naga gloves after scaling.
I didn't create the character with the intention of using the WC set bonus, it's something that I decided to try while I was running WC for randoms. I picked nelf because I like the animations and shadowmeld is really really goodAny reason why you made a nelf instead of dwarf if you want pure exp?
Before 5.3, some casters geared with only 11 rating instead of going over the cap, because they wanted the stats more than making sure that they didn't miss 0.04% of the time. I don't see it as making a huge difference, but instead making sure that one day I don't look back on why I died or lost a game or whatever and think "if I had had more expertise, that healer wouldn't have dodged my scatter or that rogue might not have dodged conc shot." I'm trying to minimize the influence rng has on whatever I do rather than have a few more stats-which could also make the difference between losing or dying sometimes, but I'd rather choose to not rely on luck as much as possible.Assuming you would be using mail chest boa, FotL, and bandit belt the difference is 116 armor/1 agi/2 stam/14 crit for 4 exp... Imo not worth it. Foreman's is enough to see a huge difference then no exp at all
