20 vs 24 hunter !

personally i think p2p 20 is much better, the only spells you miss out on as a 20 is aspect of the cheetah and multi shot which isnt that big of a deal imo. aspect of cheetah is cool but its not really necessary, i would take the scaling over abilities and the small bit of extra gear you would get.
 
what was said above, on my 20 monk (one in sig) i lose monk buff and touch of karma by not going 24.

But i gain more agi for staying 20 and overall i enjoy playing monk without having to crutch on touch of karma.

Basically, try out 20 hunter if you dont like it level to 24. win win.
 
The stats work out pretty similar between the two if they're BiS but 20 is much easier to gear. Aspect of the Cheetah and Multishot aren't worth farming Glass Shooter/Emissary Cuffs/Charged Gears.

Looking at it independent of how much of a pain in the ass farming gear is, 20 can hit max agility and slightly higher max crit. 24 has max stam. General balanced BiS set will be relatively even - 20 will probably have a bit more agility, 24 a bit more crit. Weapon damage is exactly the same now. I'd say Foreman's scaling up to 7/7 for 20s is the tiebreaker here.

If only this was true, comparing a 24 hunter to a 20 p2p and f2p 20; 24 > 20p2p > 20f2p.

You are not able to stack as much raw damage and crit on a p2p 20 compared to 24 even with scaled stats because gear is much better for a 24 which makes me wonder if the posters above even compared this in bg.

24 p2p vs 20 p2p or f2p hunter.........usually double ko if neither has healer. While i don't plan on making any more twinks soon....making level 20 twink is about 10000x faster.

To be fair mine was mostly a joke and I meant skill wise. I've "compared them in bgs" alot more then you :p

BoA's will all be the same, so let's look at offensive stats on off-pieces.

24:
WSG Necklace - 6 agil
Parachute Cloak - 8 agil
Emissary Cuffs of Agility - 9 agil
Foreman's Gloves or Ashen Gloves - 5 agil/5 expertise or 7 agil/4 crit
Satchel belt of the Bandit - 5 agil/5 crit
Standard Issue Prisoner Shoes - 8 agil
Charged Gear - 9 agil
Charged Gear - 9 agil
Glass Shooter - 12 agil/8 crit

71 agil, 13 crit, 5 expertise or 73 agil, 17 crit.

This is only hit capped if you're Draenei. Non-draenei can use the leather BoA shoulders (+2 agil, -6 crit), Ring of Precision (-3 agil), D-1000 Rng (-5 agil) or Dread Pirate Ring (-9 agil, +6 crit). If you use Ashen Gloves over Foreman's, you'll need 15 hit for your pet abilities to be capped. I guess this is optional since p2p hunters can pretty much faceroll through most things anyways. Rocket boots with surefooted are an option to get you there, you gain 10 hit/10 crit for 15 agil or 8 agil/minor speed, depending on your normal boot enchant.

I can see where our difference lies; I would use d-1000 to hit cap a 24 and not use feet of the linx on a p2p 20 but cobrans boots and dpr to not make the crit gap bigger then it needs to be due (down)scaling because crit > then a few steady dmg points increase in my opinion.

Then you were just trolling the thread and also making some strange assumptions which you can not know while i assume you are not able to log a p2p 20 and a 24 next to your f2p 20. I could be wrong ofc.
