    Racials & Passives
    Alliance

    Night Elf

Shadowmeld: Puts you in stealth, taking you out of combat
Quickness: Reduces the chance that melee or ranged can hit you by 2%
Nature Resistance: Reduced Nature damage by 1%

    Worgen

    Darkflight
: Allows you to move 40% faster
Aberration: increases Nature and Shadow resistance by 1%
Viciousness: increases critical strike chance by 1%

Overall picking an Alliance race is just spec dependent. For Fcing your best bet would be to pick the Night Elf. Quickness is great for mitigating damage. For Feral, Guardian, and balance go with a Worgen, the 40% movement speed is nice and the bit of extra crit would help for bursting down the efc. As a Guardian Druid your going to be able to put out some dps, which is why i would pick Worgen. Not to mention how much faster leveling skinning would go.

    Horde

    Tauren

War Stomp: stuns up to 5 enemies within 8 yds for 2 sec

Endurance: base HP increased by 5%
Nature Resistance: reduces Nature damage taken by 1%
Cultivation: increases Herbalism skill by 15 and

    Troll

Berserking: increases your attack and casting speed by 20% for 10 sec
Regeneration: health regeneration rate increased by 10%. 10% of total health regeneration may continue during combat
Dead Eye: increased Expertise with bows, guns, and crossbows by 1%
Da Voodoo Shuffle: reduces the duration of all movement impairing effects by 15%

As with Alliance your race depends on your spec. For both Resto and Guardian Fcing a Tauren would be your best bet. The stun is invaluable to any FC, especially in those tight situations. For Balance and Feral Troll is the better option. Berserking is a great racial for putting out high amounts of dps in a short amount of time. A Feral may also consider a Tauren, for the stun when you have an enemy at 5 combo points.

    Specs & Talents
    Talent Overview

Wild Charge: Grants a movement ability depending on your shape-shifted form
Displacer Beast: Teleports you 20yds forwards, activates cat form, increased movement speed by 50% for 4 sec
Feline Swiftness: Increases your movement speed by 15%

    Resto
A Restoration druid is a great healer and FC. As Resto you should be able to stay alive for long amounts of time, . As a Resto healer i suggest Displacer Beast as your talent of choice. The speed boost helps quite a lot when trying to get to a fellow twink in time to save there life. As a Resto FC Wild Charge is your best option for Horde and Displacer Beast if your Alliance.
As a Resto druid you can expect to take on up to 4 enemies without dying and for an extended amount of time, if you play smart.

    Balance
As a Balance druid you should be the #1 damage dealer in the Gulch. The only talent you should consider as Balance is Displacer Beast. The reason why Displacer Beast if your best option is because you can use it to make a quick escape, or gain distance from your enemies to root them.
As Balance expect to take on 1-2 enemies for a short amount of time.

    Feral
As a Feral you will have INSANE burst, i would venture to say they are the most bursty class in the bracket. Feral's are under played, but they have great mobility and can stay on an efc without having to stop to cast. Which is a huge advantage. The talent that best suits a Feral is Wild Charge. However any of the three options are viable.
As a feral you can expect to take on 1-2 enemies for a short amount of time.

    Guardian
A Guardian druid is essentially a warrior on all fours. You will have GREAT survivability with healers, but otherwise you are subpar to other FC classes (Warriors will have this same issue). As a Guardian druid Wild Charge is the only talent you should consider, on either faction. Expect to take on up to 2 enemies for a short amount of time.

    Professions

    Herbalism
Lifeblood: Heals minor wounds and increases haste by 55 for 20 sec
This profession is a MUST for any spec you choose. It will heal you for a small amount and will increase your damage/healing output.

    Skinning
Master of Anatomy: Increases critical strike by 9
Used mainly for damage dealing, however it is a good choice for healing as well.

    Mining
    Toughness: Increases stamina by 7
    Used for FC's.

    First Aid
Not strictly needed anymore, but it is good to have in situations where you cant cast a heal.

    Fishing
Needed only for getting your Lucky Fishing Hat.

    Cooking
Not needed but it is a good idea to get it now that Rumsey is gone.

    Addons & Macros
    Addons
These are the Addons i use and recommend.

    Quartz
    Battleground Targets
    SaySapped
    Capping
    ForteExcorcist
    OmniCC
    MikScrollingBattleText
    LoseControl
    Dominos
    Stealth Alerter
*Note: These are what i Prefer they help ME do better in WSG, these may be useful to you and they may not.

    Macros
I use very few macros, but here are some that i use and others recommend.

    /use Poison Extraction Totem
    /target Poison Extraction Totem
    /cast Wild Charge

This one is pretty obvious, it drops a Poison Extraction Totem, targets it then it casts wild charge. Great for juking people.

    #showtooltip Rejuvenation
    /cast [no modifier] Rejuvenation
    /cast [modifier:shift, target=mouseover] Rejuvenation
    /cast [modifier:alt, target=player] Rejuvenation

This one is also fairly simple to understand for those of you who use mouseovers. Can be interchanged with different spells. Thanks, Notriousthf for suggesting it!

    /cancelaura Displacer Beast

Good for getting rid of the speed boost when going down tun.

/bg Your FC is going TUNNEL. Plz assist.
/bg Your FC is going RAMP. Plz assist.
/bg Your FC is going GRAVEYARD. Plz assist.

Make sure your know where the flag they are supposed to be protecting is.

/bg The EFC is going TUNNEL. Plz assist.
/bg The EFC is going RAMP. Plz assist.
/bg The EFC is going GRAVEYARD. Plz assist.

/bg THE EFC IS ABOUT TO DIE. PREPARE TO CAP.

Make sure your team knows where the flag they are supposed to be returning is, also make the your FC knows when to get to cap.
    Tips

    Tips
The first and most important tip i have for you is LEARN THE JUMPS! They are super nice to be able to do when your in clutch situations and can provide you with LoS or time to heal yourself. Almost all great druids have been made so because they knew how to navigate the terrain.

    Warsong Gulch Jumps/Exploits - YouTube
Thanks to Dirtyauction for letting me use the video!
    Know your class.

Positioning is crucial, see where you are related to your team and your enemy.

COMMUNICATION! You can have a terrible team, but if you have good communication the game will be a lot less face-roll then it would be otherwise.

Scroll clicks ftw. Bind interact with mouseover to scroll wheel up and scroll wheel down.

    Conclusion
In closing, playing a druid is a whole different experience than any other class you will play in WoW. They are diverse and pure fun. Whatever spec you choose, you'll have a blast, and dominate your enemies.

    Re: Shîft's 19 Druid Guide

Very nice when this is finished please let me know I will add it to my 15-19 Bracket[guide]-so-you-want-lvl-19-twink-47869/

which to be honest is very much needed since druids are so good right now a great guide for new twinks would really point them into the right direction. If you need any help feel free to ask :)
    Thanks :) will do.
The only help i need right now are for feral and guardian sets. i know a rough guess of what i will put there but i want to know if the gear i do put is correct or not. I don't play any other spec than Resto so feedback for the other specs would be nice.

Since i dont see any druid guides i figured i would include all specs in one guide. For any help that i use you will be credited :)

    Re: Shîft's 19 Druid Guide

I could help Im sure the feral gear is close to a Monks gear

    Re: Shîft's 19 Druid Guide

It just depends on how you want to gear.
    You can gear towards
stamina/res with the honor shoulders / boa chest / boa legs,
crit with azure scale, cobrahn's boots, boa ring, shadowfang spaulders,
agility with armor of the fang, feet of lynx, double argas/argas & protector's
Boomkinged's setup is a good balance between crit and agility

You could use +4 stats, but 100 mana pretty much doubles your mana pool which helps out a lot with off-healing and shifting.

    Re: Shîft's 19 Druid Guide

    #showtooltip Rejuvenation
    /cast [no modifier] Rejuvenation
    /cast [modifier:shift, target=mouseover] Rejuvenation
    /cast [modifier:alt, target=player] Rejuvenation

It's a little complicated for the way most keybinders play, but it can become very useful as you learn to use it. Same can be done with entangling roots, swiftmend and regrowth if desired.

Shift for mouseover, alt for self, and no mod for normal casting. You can switch mouseover with focus or add a focus mod as well, or move the modifiers around to suit your style, like using alt for mouse over or focus instead of self.

Sorry i have not finished updating the guide, i quit wow for awhile and since then just have not had the ambition. I think i am going to wait till 5.4 to finish it since the enchants and stuff will all change.

    Re: Shîft's 19 Druid Guide

would you happen to have a guide on 2.4.3? I play on a private server and can't seem to find one. ( at least a gear list, maybe spec )
