24 Priest (Charged Gear not dropping in Gnomer)

Spriesta

Legend
I rolled a Disc Priest (I may stay, or I might switch to Shadow - depending on the needs in 20-24 brackets), for the sake of getting in dungeons, but I am currently having major issues with getting the Charged Gear ring. I understand that there is a lot of different ring enchants, but I literally have not even seen one version of the ring drop. I have run Gnomeregan countless times. I have already gotten the helm (Gigaflux Reactivator one), and I've literally seen it drop over six times now. I just don't understand why a somewhat rare helm is dropping a bunch, but the rings never drop.

Is this just horrible luck, or is Wowhead's information on the ring messed up? To my understanding, the helm has a drop rating of 21%, and the ring has a 23% drop rate.

I've seen the other drops (axe, head, and shield) countless times, but no rings!
:( Any help would be appreciated. If this boss doesn't drop it, that'd be good to know, and if it's not in the game anymore that'd be good to know too.

I'm considering going with the Argas rings for now, because I'm having no luck whatsoever and it's honestly very demotivating. I think with the Argas rings, I can at least work to get the other gear before I go farming for Charged Gear again.

I saw ring of eluding drop today and stam one yesterday in my only two runs of gnomer. I'm done with Gnomer.. i used to use 2nd account and auto follow through that place but not doing that again.. i'll just be non bis twink if need be. The damn Be Raptor quest already makes me never want to level a 24 again lol

I just recently got my Charged Gear of the Intellect on my Spriest. It was actually the first ring that I ever saw drop in Gnomer, however, it took me 30 runs to get a ring drop. RNG is RNG and it can screw you over or happy as ever.

gnomer rng worst rng.

Wowhead's drop percents are wrong really.... I've gone 20 runs without seeing a ring drop in general. Could be just because it hates me, I just ran a priest friend on my main because he's been running me a lot. My Emissary Cuffs of Stamina dropped. Yeah.... I hate that dungeon forever.

My boosts are golden :p If you remember, the very next run we got Emissary Cuffs of the Monkey too for my hunter :D

77% chance the ring won't drop every time you run. You could say that after 20 runs, the chance of seeing no ring drop at all is 3.85% which is still high tbh. My WW Monk got Ring of Agility first time which is 3.3%, more or less same odds, mine were just in favour ^^

I used to solo queue all the time on my hpaladin. I would sit and wait for the group to leave if the ambassador was up. I even had the cuffs drop one time, cuffs of spirit. /cry

Sweetsydney...

Only bracers i havent seen drop are the 9 intells not once i have 5x pairs of owl cuffs 4x pairs of boar 1x pair of stam 2x pairs of attackpowers
and for the rings ive gotten 8x eagles 8x bears 4x intell rings 2x stam rings and 1x str ring 1x agility ring 4x monkeys 4x agility and hit idk what its called. So im bis for everything except for 9 intell bracer and 1 9 str ring. This is i think over 260 runs.

Well, I'm a new twink, but I knew this wouldn't be entirely easy. I'm currently PvPing on my hpally, so I might get some looms. However, I was really wanting to make my first twink a non-boa char just so I could feel more proud of the accomplishments, without any help from my other chars.

Argas rings are probably my next goal as it provides better survivability. While glasscannon for Shadow might be powerful, it is not the best for Disc or healing in general. That said, I'd rather survive longer and be able to help/support, instead of doing a massive amount of damage and then being murdered by a half-geared F2P Resto druid (not a stab at F2P - It's a stab at the downside of glasscannon).

Don't feel so bad.
At least you didn't lose a roll to a lvl 30 that didn't even need the Agility.
Since then, i haven't even seen any type drop.
