I'd be cautious about Blizzard seeing the IP changes, your account might get locked.

It will get locked due to suspicious activity, its there by default. nothing to worrie about.

this is true if u have older version of wow client (before 5.0)
if you downloaded new one, there is no realmlist file therefor you'll need to download 20gb to be able to play in US

In the copy / in your client open the file Config.wtf in the WTF folder in any text editor (I used a code editor because Mac TextEdit screws code up sometimes).
Change the line
SET locale "enGB"
to
SET locale "enUS"
Save the file and that's it. "

Have received a lot of interest, at work at the moment but will get back to those who contacted me as soon as I am off.

I just loaned out one of my accounts and had to give the person the email address so he could follow the link Blizz sent to change password.

About this lock.. It isn't tough at all. Person A (owner) gives person B (farmer) the info. Person B logs on for the first time and gets the account locked (will always happen). Person A then goes and resets the pw and gives it to person B. Person B then logs on again and continue to farm whenever they want until the LFH is gotten. Takes 5 minutes at most to reset and do the whole process.
