What class would fit me best?

Hey all;

Since I'm leaving for university in a few months, I won't have a lot of time to play.
Thus right now I am working on gearing out a multitude of characters so when I can play, I can actually play.

Among this I would like to make a one twink for fun. I have fairly good experience with each class on the Arena-Tournament server, so I don't plan on any class holding my focus for long based on the "learning curve" involved.

-So, I'm looking to ask you all what class you would recommend based on .. me.
-I prefer undead or night elf.
-I'm a very twitchy player and move around a shit ton. If I'm not whacking something, I'm jumping around or doing similarly pointless things.
-I've taken an odd obsession with the look of my characters, and would love to have the gear half match since I'm under the impression you can't mog much at one.
-I'd love to solo random things in downtime, so I imagine that a slow on demand of some sort is necessary. (Haste mage)?
-I rather enjoy farming random pieces of gear even if I never use them, and I enjoy gearing toons more than playing them.

--> I don't really care, I just want something to change the pace from 90, which seems like anything at this point.

Thanks a bunch!

For a level one I would recommend you go Rogue with how you like to play.

Ahh, damn. I may perhaps just be the most miserable leveler in WoW history.

To level my priest to 70 in mid ish cata took me about 6 days /played alone, and in WotLK I didn't hit 80 till the end of s7. That was even starting from almost 70, as I never hit level 70 in TBC.

In the Burning Crusade I started playing. However, I only played 30 minutes max a day and started right at the end of this expansion - thus is why I did not reach 70 that expansion.
Wrath of the Lich King, again at the beginning I did not play much until 2 months into the expansion. After that, I got 6 to 80 within a month period.
Cataclysm, I got to 85 in the first day. Started raiding. Got another level 85 and then 2 weeks later quit for 9 months. 5.2 hits and finish leveling my other 4 80s - and then make another to level.
Mists of Pandaria - first week, got two level 90s and added the other 3 within the first two months - the worst grind have seen to date.
It's not just you, most people hate the leveling :p

Private servers ruined me.

I can't get 20 minutes into questing without the thought that, "In this time I could have fully created a character on Arena-Tournament, jumped into arena with talented people, and finish what I wanted to do to better extent in 1/10 the time"

At level 1 as long as you like to auto attack youre good with any class I think. But honestly rogue or warrior would be the best choices for you

Hehe, Runescape .. I have so many random pures.

I quit out of the blue one day when I was leveling mining, and it occurred to me that I had literally spent 100+ hours clicking a rock on my screen, watching a choppy animation, then walking to the bank where I would wait to sell it in stacks of 1,000 in the sheer hopes of buying either enough deaths to level my magic.
I actually don't think I ever finished the Ape Atoll? quest for a dscimmy. Sooooooo long and miserable C:
For the life of me I could never figure out any decent strategy for the PKing. Other then spec'ing people with a dbow in soul wars :D That never got old.

Similar thoughts doomed my minecraft career; "You're literally watching grass grow in a video game".

Bahahaha.

I agree Rogue would be a good choice, however, I think a Hunter would be good as well. You can jump shoot tickle forest creatures etc all while letting your pet do some dmg :) Plus, I think the Hunter BoA gear looks better with the non boa gear than the Rogues does

Hey!
After thinking a lot (I hope I didn't waste my time :p) and seeing all of your like "requirements" i present you:

UNDEAD WARRIOR.

simply: you wanted undead and something with nice mog abilities. Warrior can use any kind of armor (so every mog available for lvl 1 is for him), gets BiS pretty quick (dont need to farm for pouch for example) and this is important if you are leaving soon. with touch of the grave, undeads give you more possiblity to solo stuff.

Farming for the pouch takes about 30-45 minutes. I run it with my level 90 Balance Druid to carry several of my mates' alt twink characters - so I do not think that the grind for Pouch would be of any problem to most players.

since we did we get the ability to xmog again on boa gear?

Yes, pouch isn't a problem to get.

I'm particularly interested in farming gear, though (Grr @ agm).
Basically, I want to make whatever I can put the most downtime into.
Also that will look pretty in my charlist <3
