That's just my opinion and it can and knowing these forums probably will be flamed into the ground.

I will go off of my experience from the last 2 weeks. I have an addon that keeps track of wins/loses so I'm not just guessing or throwing out random numbers.

From around ~2 PM EST-9 PM EST horde is better. I have a 35% win ratio between these times. They are stronger due to the constant 5+ AP premades as well as more healers and more 24s coupled with some pretty bad ally pugs in my experience.

From ~9 PM EST-5 AM EST ally is better. I have a 70% win ratio between these times. They are stronger due to most of the horde 24s being gone and the ally 24s coming out as well as some good ally puggers.

Edit: From looking at lofis list and the last update I was 1842/3091 and now I am 1862/3146 which means I've gone 20/55 which is just at the 35% win ratio I said because I have been playing during the daytime mostly and not at night

Idk if its just that my high school spanish classes ended up being very useful or if its just that alliance isnt very good

I've played about forty WSG's in the past three or four days as Horde and only lost six or seven of them. These are also somewhat factual numbers because I was looking at my achievement/stats page before I started playing my shaman again.

This might also be somewhat egotistical but I actually do think that number might be skewed due to the fact that I FC and can sometimes change the tide of games doing so.

If you look at my druid - a) who's games have been pretty much all within the last month (rather than days) b) who multiple people play - I think it gives a much better representation of what is going on. The character's win ratio shows a slight advantage for horde but nothing too significant.

Also, I play anywhere from 6 AM EST to 3 AM EST so time probably hasn't influenced my numbers.

IMO, there should be a separate poll for EU and US.

I'd like to do this, but I'm not unable to make the edit myself. Alternatively, I suppose I could prefix this with [US]

Right above your OP, there's a small button called "Thread Tools."

From there I think you can add another poll.

I don't have this option, but I can prefix it with US.

Things have changed so much! At the beginning of the f2p era, horde was happy to win 1 game out of 5,now the tables have turned.I would say horde is a bit stronger now and the both sides are roughly evened out. 55/45 in horde favor is my verdict imo

I only lose on horde if alliance is stacked to the ceiling with 24s.

Pony Slaystation comes to mind, with running anywhere from 5-10 people.

I'm not sure what things are like right now (my compter broke a few weeks ago), but I've always felt like the times that I play can influence my win/loss rate by something like as much as +/- 10-20%, and I think the further one gets away from peak hours, the more the advantage moves toward the alliance.

All in all, I think faction balance is as good as it's ever been -- with maybe, a very slight edge for horde that exists only when I am playing. ;)

I can't help thinking that the shift away from Alliance dominance, that we saw in early f2p history, might have something to do with the playerbase maturing a little -- that is, younger players growing out of the whole "I want to play the goodguy", thing.

Also, the increase in latin-amercan players has definatey had an effect, though I'm not sure whom they help/hurt.

From the sounds of things, I'll have to finish gearing my alliance mages.
