Well the merge is not their fault, might aswell adapt to the change .
I am using google translate (according to most I have asked they communicate in Portuguese).

Cripz can you correct these if google butchered the translation in any way :

  • Drop the flag - cair a bandeira
  • Quick kill the enemy flag carrier - morte rápida a transportadora de bandeira inimiga
  • Help me - Ajuda-me
  • I will die , get ready to 'repick' - Eu vou morrer , prepare-se para 'repick' !

Lil, this is a thread about EU...there hasn't been any change on US servers. US Ally is slightly worse now, but there isn't a huge imbalance. Its definitely much closer than it was in Cata. Bad games happen on both sides.

But seriously, EU has been awful since like October.
 
I really hope Blizzard reverse this change. The last week has been infested with spanish people who either suck, can't speak english or a combination of the two. Sick of all this jajajaja and useless trash talk.

I bged for like a day straight yesterday and only people I saw that I knew was 1 Sanctuary premade and flex and falanks.. All throughout the day I was seeing Spanish or Portuguese people and they were completely new names.. Maybe it was just a really bad day all day but I was thinking it was cause of this when I came on and read this.

Lots of our wins come from the numberless 24 premades. Is it that bad with 24s on other horde teams as well? I didnt play alliance for quite a while...

this is the stupidest idea ever. there's a reason for spannish and english speaking realms blizz, we cant f**king understand each other....

not one bit. you cant blame spanish speaking realms for speaking spanish, no more than you can blame english ones for not speaking spanish. just sounds silly to make different language realms than mix them anyway.
 
There wouldn't be so much rage if the Spanish speakers were aware of (or cared about) that they're no longer in a Spanish-only environment, and actually made an effort to communicate. It's not as if we on the 'English' realms are all English - players come from all over the place, we just make an attempt to use the same language (most of the time) because otherwise teamwork is impossible.

I seriously wouldn't have much of a problem with the BG merger if everybody who's able to at least made an attempt to use English. But it's pretty obvious that a lot of Spanish speakers have enough English to understand it, but just can't be arsed to use it.

But why change a system that worked beforehand and replace it with this mess in the first place?

It's because Blizzard is losing money hand over fist as more and more people cancel their subs. They won't do home server merges because that would be a huge sign of weakness. So, they merge the servers ninja-style with CRZ and BG mergers. Everyone gets ported off to the high-pop realms. And that equals a lot less maintainance cost for Blizz.
 
I know this is EU - but the thread got me thinking.

I stole some phrases (Thanks Cripz!), made some macros. Mostly seen a positive effect...
