Ooohey, didn't know you were Natsume.

Yeah, the same thing happened right when I first made my account. The first time it happened they actually got the satchel out of the mail for me. But it happened a couple times after that and they wouldn't do it again.

I guess it depends on the GM when it comes to asking for stuff.

P.S. Welcome to f2p life. This is why we hate 24s, you don't understand our hardships and the struggles we face each day just getting by.

Edit: that GM's response is pretty unprofessional though after just reading it. he's basically saying he's not gonna help you because blizzard hates f2ps although reluctantly putting up with them

Pro-tip though, don't say "this is my f2p account" when talking to a GM. You need to act like a noob. Use phrases like "I'm not sure if..." "I don't know if..." Also use lots of incorrect WoW terminology.

It's a relatively typical response; it's very rare that a GM will access something from your mailbox. While I hate to say it, it's one dungeon run - you can easily fix your mistake in the future.

The most interesting part of their response was "We allow Trial Accounts to 'twink'". One of the first (and most clear) responses I've seen from a GM on the issue.

i get that its one run i made the ticket before i went ot bed thinking have the bag the next morning so that wasnt the issue , but yea started talking about twinks when i didnt mention it at all i thought was weirderrerrer.

Paramore this is domunique, im a night elf rogue I see you on my server, sorta cool you like one piece and fairy tail, you dont have to respond I just find it cool you have toons called natsu and mihawk. respect

although i have not heard a gm say the anything about the other functions when responding to a ticket, he is right.

what i usually do is ask them very very nicely (even though it has never worked D': )

and then once they say no i say, "if i can't get assistance now, that means if i buy the game i won't get assistance, right?"

"if i can't get assistance now, that means if i buy the game i won't get assistance, right?"

    Too right.

9/10 GMs are a complete waste of time, and the 1/10 who do actually help players probably end up getting fired, because they actually care about the players enough to take time over tickets, instead of waiting until the player logs off and mailing canned responses (it's even happened to me a couple of times, that after a long wait I logged over to another character, only to come back to find a canned GM response).

GMs do not give a damn about the customers that pays to make their job possible. Imagine how much they care about F2Ps...

Almost every questionable ticket I put in on a f2p starts with "I was thinking about upgrading my account, but...". I've been very successful with that phrase, except for the time I sent a linked f2p a full set of heirlooms , and tried to get the GM to give them to me— though I eventually got them back.

It depends on the GM ;)

When I used IAT's name change thing it took me 4 tickets and 3 different GMs and the last GM blatantly said "I fixed one of your previous tickets and I see that you redeleleted your toon. Also realized you are a F2P and thus can't get name changes so here is alittle gift from me for a name change, just don't abuse GMs to much in the future" (obviously didnt say that exactly but he knew I was F2P and knew I wanted name change)

This GM just followed the rule book closely
