Disadvantage of having an alt on alliance is that you wasted some time to make it and its pretty much useless
Nah honestly... Advantage is that you can go to the winning/loosing side whenever you want. You can also go horde when u feel like having shorter queues? idk

Alliance - Humans have racial that eliminates the need for pvp trink. 2 cheap 16 slot bags at AV vendor (55 honor?), more buff food options (you can buy all the low level recipes at the cooking vendor in Old Town.) No god dang elevators to stand around waiting for or to fall do the shaft. Longer que times gives you time to work on professions between BGs.
Horde has shorter que times. I hardly ever play alliance anymore.

and it makes all the rogues and druids roll alli. problem with that is, most of them are re-rolls and are really annoying. i been topping or close to topping healing on my balance druid most of the day, not cuz im awesome, because are restos are to busy in cat form. and most rogues will watch you die cuz they wont open.
in short alliance is annoying.
Alliance racials lend them to more mobility and more uptime for healing
Horde racials lend themselves to more coordination and control
Alliance gear lends itself to agility-based dps with the eyepatch
Horde gear lends itself to caster and healing gear
Alliance grants a little more freedom to choose a profession
Horde is a little pinned down to engineering until you get LFH
Both sides have their share of 24s, but Horde 24s usually roll in premades whereas Alliance 24s usually run as solo heroes
Horde has more people that don't speak english
Alliance has more people that don't know how to play
Fully-geared Horde 24 premades come on 24/7 during CTA
Allies looking to get BoA come on 24/7 during CTA

Alliance queues are much shorter now it seems, apprx 5-7 mins
