They'll mean shit when they accumulate. If we go by what they're doing it looks like they're gonna slap a whole set of heirlooms and that obviously means stronger p2ps/24s.

I would flow my HP into renamed looms if i got litterally nothing else to spend it on. Atleast 5.2 will give me a shield mog to work for and the battlemaster trinket.

The stats are decent. However, Parry doesn't bring much to the table.

The shields still have no armor and since they fixed in game portals I can confirm, that the shields cannot be bought from the dark moon faire yet.

Both shields cannot be bought anymore after the latest update. Musty tome and inherited mark, however, still can be bought from their respective vendors.
