Hai there,

I've been twinking 19 for aaages and it's totes dead at the moment. Looking for a new bracket to have some fun in and I wondered how F2P is? Are 24s ruining everything? Or is there fun to be had at 20 EU?

I'd prolly be on a paid account, but would of course endeavour to comply with the limitations of F2P and so on.

What class should I roll? I'm open to almost any caster-based class, not a fan of melee really.

Also which faction is underplayed? I'll join whichever one is (Y)

The 24's only ruin it when theres more than 2, and we don't really need healers. Holy priest, Lock and mages are not so popular. Go alliance!

Welcome! One or two 24's ain't that big a problem. It's mainly the premades that can be troublesome. But those only come once in a while. F2p's still pretty fun here.

There are already plenty of healers in BG's. A lot more Dps is needed nowdays. You can try a Mage. The amount of CC they have is incredible and a real game-changer when trying to beat so many healers in the bracket.

Both factions have relatively short queues, from like 2-10 min. Ally is generally shorter but they tend to lose a lot more.

If you're looking for other f2p's to premade, arena or hang out with, Twisting Nether Alliance and Aggramar Horde are good servers to go to.

Good luck!

Thank you both so much for the responses, and so quickly!

I think I'll roll a Mage, I've had a lot more experience playing them in most brackets and from what I've seen/heard at 19, both Arcane and Fire are tons of fun, as well as a Stam-heavy Frost CC spec as well!

Despite the lures of rolling a Goblin (a race I've never played before, and that looks kinda fun :p ) I think I'll go support the Alliance! See y'all around in the 'Gulch ^_^
