Looking for a good 24 protection paladin set. Looked in the guide and didn't see one.

Shield - Shield Against the Evil Presence - Item - World of Warcraft with 10 stam 10 spirit

Except preference on a few. (My opinion, not necessarily "correct" and some people may disagree)

  • Spellpower does nothing for protection pallies since 5.0 so get crusader/strength on your weapon depending on preference. Keep the Blessed Hammer though as it offers good stamina and the highest resilience on a 1h.
  • If you can't get a charged ring of stamina due to RNG, try your luck at the auction house for a heavy silver ring (+8 stamina)
  • If you're over the hit cap pick up the Spy Mistress' Necklace from the stonetalon mountain quest hub.
  • Get the honor shoulders. Stack as much Resilience as possible. While the parry boost is nice, Priest damage isn't it, and you want to buffer yourself from that as much as you can.

Thanks for the help guys! I use to be twinked out but left and deleted my toon. I totally forgot what I was suppose to get :p
 
A couple clarifications:

You need to be spell hit capped - 6% (15 rating). Expertise also contributes to your spell hit rating, so this won't be too much of a problem with either pair of BoA legs (Boots of the Hero+Gloves of the Jungle King+BoA legs should cover it).

Parachute Cloak + PvP power is now subpar for FCing as prot. With 5.1, PvP Power no longer increases hybrid/off-spec heals. Its only a bonus to your damage. Wear the BoA cloak for FCing, but I'd recommend keeping a Parachute Cloak with PvP Power in your pockets for when you don't have a flag in your hands.
 
Stack as much str as u can str=sp the helm with hit and boa legs with hit alpng with jungle king gloves should put u over 2 agms and for wep id go with the one with 2 hit rating 6 str+ i put 15 str on mine but i have another with crusador .. completely up to u Bud. ill make sure to show u my new set in january burger. Nice to see u on the site.
 
tell u the truth with my set for full stam i have solid 4k thats comepletely bis exact number is like 4150 but i have proven through trial and error that more pvp power and str= parry so with my str set i survives longer and hit amillion times harder sometimes for 1100 crits on 4 people with sheild.
